Isn’t it the best to be creative neith????Neptune loves it!
Isn’t it the best to be creative neith????Yes indeed! Taking those photos reminded me just how much I’ve produced down the years. Good to get that sense again. Looking at my chart & others, it would appear that having Saturn aspecting Neptune is one of the keys to getting the idea/concept into real form. Adding in Mars like tseka has, and you have a really dedicated producer of a body of work. My Mars, being chart ruler & in a fixed sign as well as very widely square my Saturn, may be why I’ve been producing creative handwork projects for oh, about 40+ years, give or take 10 . . . When I was finishing up my Art degree in ’74, there were students doing ‘conceptual art’. One guy took a roll of film of me milking the dang cow & turned it in as a photography class assignment – and got credit for it! The upcoming Saturn/Neptune opposition may give lots of creative sorts out there just the boost they need to make their concepts/dreams into concrete reality. What a blessing that would be for all of us . . . π
Hallelujah Sister!!
OOOh, I love the lace it is beyond perfection. I can’t even imagine the effort. We do love Neptune, yes we do. Even when it was square Venus. What do you think Neith about the Uranus / Neptune mutual reception activating our creative lives. Maybe throwing in a dash “let’s live a little differently?”

We do love Neptune, yes we do. Even when it was square Venus. What do you think Neith about the Uranus / Neptune mutual reception activating our creative lives. Maybe throwing in a dash “let’s live a little differently?”It’s appreciation that we need!! you know the kind where people are willing to plunk down cold cash to take our creative efforts home with them. π The Uranus/Neptune mutual reception is encouraging the conceptual part – ideas abounding. But I personally believe it will be the shift of Saturn & Pluto into Earth signs, Virgo & Capricorn, that will help artists to bring their creativity into manifestation. You remember the famous quote from Edison – “Genius is 99% perspiration & 1% inspiration”? Plus we need more of the attitude that prevails in Europe & Scandinavia where more just folks are willing to pay more for unique artwork to enrich their lives. Something that came to mind was I didn’t consider when I was spinning & knitting that I was doing “Art”. It was just something to do because I can’t NOT be without some kind of project. And when you referred to my scarves as wearable art . . . it changed my perception! But that’s what friends are for . . . Thanks!! π BTW, it’s possible that as April & May approach that rascal Uranus may have you considering some changes, speaking of living a little differently . . .
Hope so! I was commissioned to do 4 eggs, I’d like to be able to do a few for myself if time and motivation allow me! :o)(((Joe))) That’s Great! Speaking of putting a Neptune transit to good use . . . it is a joy to have those new designs spinning around in one’s head waiting to be translated on to the eggs, isn’t it?!
Hey congrats Joe. This is fab news.hmmmmm….BTW, it’s possible that as April & May approach that rascal Uranus may have you considering some changes, speaking of living a little differently . . .i guess that would be transiting Uranus completing a grand square with MC /IC / moon. Not to leave out the trine to Venus and Uranus. Then there is trasiting NN creeping up on my NN. Who Knows? Pluto on the Sun “facing the shadow”.
i guess that would be transiting Uranus completing a grand square with MC /IC / moon. Not to leave out the trine to Venus and Uranus. Then there is trasiting NN creeping up on my NN. Who Knows?Hah! Learning to read transits . . . π As to timing, Uranus is very close to being exactly trine your Venus, so that’s an active aspect now. It will also be when Uranus is forming a T-square with your MC/IC. Lots to consider for sure. The opposition to the Moon in May is just the opening salvo of a transit that will be in effect on & off until December ’08. hmmmmm, that is also the time when Pluto moves on into Capricorn. Uranus transits that effect the emotional body leave us wondering what the heck just happened?! Be prepared for an emotional roller coaster ride as feelings will surface that can catch a person quite by surprise. oooh are you ever going to make a great Elder!!!! π

Beautiful neith! My Libra son loves just the same colors and air. I remember suggesting that he choose a color for his livingroom…LOL. He is an elegant air sign and his taste is also elegant and always a lovely shade of white. Anything else feels opressive to him. Beautiful art in all your forms.Love the breezes.Astrid
Sidebar: when was the last time we had this kind of Saturn/Neptune opposition? Anyone know offhand? Most recently . . . 1971-72! Here is a link to an article by Robert Gover on StarIQ that lists all the recent Saturn/Neptune oppositions & some of the events that took place at those times. He also wrote an article about Saturn/Neptune & Avian flu that’s on StarIQ. Saturn/Neptune Oppositions
He is an elegant air sign and his taste is also elegant and always a lovely shade of white. Anything else feels opressive to him. With Pisces on the 4th, I choose the blue & green tinted whites to complement warm whites. My Aries loves using warm woods for accents. I do love rich, bold colors but not on the walls . . . and I can relate to dark walls feeling oppressive. This house had lots of dark walnut colored paneling in the living room. Within a year I had painted over half of it, even though it took 2 coats of a primer & 2 finish coats to cover it!
Lovely. It is a fantastic color and the number of tones is seemingly endless. Reflection and shadows and free flow of light and air… especially in tones of blue or green. Your work is so reflective of that elegance. My son is also an elegant and lively person, and his home reflects that too. These things make the world a good place.
Just one last thought on the color white…it contains all colors, and of course is the color of the Moon.MeaningAstrid
Lovely. It is a fantastic color and the number of tones is seemingly endless. Reflection and shadows and free flow of light and air… especially in tones of blue or green. And you have hit on exactly why I am so loving this paint color . . it reminds me of the way water & sky change color w/the time of day and the way color reflects off foliage, clouds, etc. Just one last thought on the color white…it contains all colors, and of course is the color of the Moon.Isn’t that wonderful?! And black is the absence of color . . . Paying attention to Light & Color in my everyday environment is a really big thing w/me. Perhaps it is the strong Libra influence w/Neptune overtones . . . π
Neith, thanks for the link to StarIQ. Very interesting reading and leads me to wonder (not fear) a lot about the future.
