It may be the Neptune fog I’ve been in lately but until Pat Paquette, The Pisces Chronicles, reminded me once again, it had slipped my mind how directly this Mars/Pluto opposition cycle was affecting me. I have a strong Scorpio Rising with Mars/Mercury in Scorpio conjunct it – the co-rulers of Scorpio are . . . tah dah, MARS & PLUTO!! Therefore it follows whenever we have Mars and Pluto aspecting each other; I’m going to feel it even if the degrees activated don’t match up to planets and Angles in my chart. But it took this last Mars Rx/Pluto opposition cycle to bring this home to me.
This past winter my frustration level has been on simmer about the whole time. Progress seems to have come in fits and starts or not at all. Lots of time just having to accept I’m going nowhere slooooowly. I’ve also been dealing with a variety of minor physical issues, probably stress related and surfacing around the time Mars was slowing to go Rx last Fall – tooth pain related to clenching my jaws, etc. Need less to say, as we approach the final Mars/Pluto opposition on March 7th, I am more than ready to put this phase behind me!
The Mercury Rx we are in the process of winding up has been interesting. For one thing, we had a 4 hour + power outage just before Mercury went Rx and another 4 hour + power outage this morning. We have maybe one or two 15-20 minute power outages a year . . . very stable as a rule. This Mercury Rx was in my 3rd House and these outages just underlined my communication problems. Seems fitting to have electrical outages and be knocked off the Internet when Mercury is in Aquarius, and Uranus is transiting my 4th House at the same time.
What I’m wondering is if other of you with lots of Scorpio or strong Pluto signatures in your charts have had similar experiences over the course of the winter. My guess is those of us with Scorpio Rising, Scorpio Sun or Moon would have felt the Mars Rx and Mars/Pluto opposition more keenly. My Aries SO with Mars in Scorpio has had a frustrating winter too. Here’s to better days ahead!! 😀
This is a photo from last Spring. It’s a good reminder of what to expect in the very near future . . . 😀
