Observations: Feeling the Uranus Disruption

Along with many others, I’m feeling the overall edginess and disruptiveness as Uranus winds up his stay in Pisces. This morning Mercury conjoined Uranus at 29° about the time I get a call asking me to come and pick up my sister after her colonoscopy . . . not part of today’s plan at all but typical of the energy swirling around this week.

Mercury is now in Aries where the trickster will stay for the next couple of months. Yes, we have another Mercury retrograde period coming up from March 30 to April 23 extending Mercury’s stay in Aries. Being direct and to the point is going to be the order of the day, especially after the equinox when the Sun moves into Aries. Yikes!

Plans seem subject to change almost daily. We had planned on heading to visit the kids this coming weekend but due to changes in work schedules that was out. The next date suggested was mid-April but before we even had a chance to take a serious look, we get another call saying our Aries son-in-law decided to go alone to spend time with his seriously ill father. Now we are planning on going on March 19-20 . . . the equinox.

I keep thinking this time when Uranus enters Aries will be quite different from the last because neither Saturn nor Pluto will be putting the brakes on Uranus. For cardinal types it will be quite exhilarating instead of being deeply frustrating as it was last summer. Aries does NOT like driving with the brakes on. Not one bit.

Lively times are on the way. 😀

  1. I like the phrase you use ‘driving with the breaks on’ – oh how true! Last summer felt a lot like stop and go traffic! With saturn hanging out in my fourth house, uranus in my tenth, and pluto sneaking up to my seventh as well as that intense eclipse in June (it might have been a little too early to conjunct my ascendant but that was still one of the worst times of the year) that cardinal cross was disruptive on all fronts. I’m definitely excited for uranus to be free and unencumbered! Stressful aspects involving saturn and pluto are simply no fun!

      I second the motion . . . you are far from alone. 😛 I listened to my Aries husband vent his deep frustration with the lack of movement every day last summer. Aries likes to set priorities and get MOVING!!

  2. Lively times, neith? I am so spitting mad…I am SCORPIO mad about the Wisconsin govt. and what is being done to this country. I am marching-in-the-streets, string-em-up-by-their-ears, throw-the-bums-out furious.

    That’s a lot of mad for a normally passive Pisces to channel.

    It’s a fight for this country’s soul and the soul is losing.

  3. I am so excited for the Cardinal energy bomb to hit me. I have been wading through very very thick mud for the past few years and I am ready for ANYTHING new and exciting to happen!

    So far Uranus approaching the Aries Point has made me feel light headed like I am drunk! It is strange but oddly fun. 😉

  4. Remember Mercury is the god of short trips, I always feel like I’m in for a surprise if I leave the house just to go to the corner store.

  5. You must sell prints, Diane. Nice cheap frames + photos in them = done :). You can even make sets of two or four of the same subject, make a story out of them. That photo up there is beautiful! Lovely pops of color. Great art for livening up the walls and cheering up our spaces for sure.

    Aside from that, the world’s definitely PMSing.

        Thanks! Love crocus because they are often the only spot of color in an otherwise drab landscape. Our grass is just beginning to show signs of life now but in a month everything will be greening up with color everywhere. 😛

        BTW, I do have some photos I deliberately took from the same point of view over a period of a month or so. Need to gather those up and add dialogue.

        Aside from that, the world’s definitely PMSing.

  6. I have Mercury, Venus, Saturn, the MC and North Node all in Aries! Uranus will shortly semi-sextile my Sun too so I already feel like someone has shook me awake. Your reference to driving with the brakes on is exactly how I felt last year – I can’t wait for things to speed up a little!

  7. I am so ready for Uranus to move out of Pisces.

    I have mutables in all of the angular houses and Pluto 29 Virgo retrograde in the 1st and Venus at 29 Gemini in the tenth.

    After finally having Pluto finish going back and forth over 29 Sagittarius,I am waiting for Uranus to move completely move into Aries.

    I stumbled across this site via Starlight and noticed that your side bar has exact degree and minutes for each planet and I’ve been coming back here almost every day to count down the minutes until Uranus moves out of the T-square with my Venus and Pluto.

  8. Hmm Diane, indeed, not a lot of plans are followed through these days. Fortunately I’m able to go with the flow at this period, no real harm done.
    Funnily enough, my mother is re-learning how to drive and she sometimes forgets the hand-brake so she literally drives with the brake on 😀

      ROFL!!! I’ve done that and rarely put the hand brake on as a result. Fortunately we don’t have steep, hilly streets here.

  9. Thanks, deb, at least someone understands what I am going through. Now I await Neptune going into Pisces so it can first square my Gemini stellium ( Saturn, Mars, and Venus) in my natal 10th.

    But while I am waiting for that disaster I can enjoy Pluto trining my Grand Earth Trine.
