Enjoy this kinder, gentler Full Moon at 18° 13″ Virgo on 8 March 2012, 1:39 AM PST with its lovely Grand Trine in earth and divine Venus-Neptune sextile. Earth and water signs dominate with one small but mighty exception . . . a dynamic Mercury-Uranus conjunction in fiery Aries.
Maybe I better start with the whizz bang conjunction in Aries, largely because it IS a Full Moon in Mercury ruled Virgo after all. This aspect is exact on 5 March and will be again on 18 March due to Mercury stationing retrograde on 12 March . . . drawing out the effects of this conjunction for several weeks. If you have planets or Angles from 0° to 6° in the cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn), batten down the hatches ‘cause your mind will be all over the place. Whenever Mercury teams up with Uranus, it opens the door to brilliant ideas and may cause a tendency to stutter because our minds are working so fast, our mouths have trouble keeping up. The best thing about the upcoming Mercury Retch is it will give us a chance to explore our bright ideas a little deeper than usual.
Mercury-Uranus is also connected by semi-sextiles to Neptune and Chiron in Pisces on one side and Venus in Taurus on the other. The Venus-Neptune sextile is sublime, sensual and perfect for connecting with your true love and waxing ridiculously sentimental. However, Chiron in the mix suggests there may be emotional baggage to deal with and Uranus-Mercury says said baggage could be exposed abruptly and totally tactlessly. Ouch! Just take your time and unwrap a few illusions before you commit, OK?
Saturn in Libra is still in position to offer his help via a trine to Neptune and an opposition to Venus in Taurus as well as an inconjunct to Uranus. He is the voice of caution whispering in your ear and urging you to take things slowly. If you are talking marriage, something Saturn in Libra supports, you may want to look into pre-nuptial agreements of various kinds such as keeping your finances separate, etc. Throwing caution to the winds for the sake of Love could come back to haunt you down the road. My vote for most helpful configuration for this lunation is the Grand Trine in earth (Mars Rx in Virgo, Jupiter in Taurus, Pluto in Capricorn). Since Mars is widely conjunct the Moon, we all stand to benefit in one way or another. Family connections and emotional ties hold the key to channeling this energy for improving our financial situations. Practical help with all the necessary checks and balances may be offered. Capricorn and Taurus both believe in earning your way but they also believe in rewarding hard work. If you are offered a starting role of some kind, take it because over the long run it may lead to much better things. Mars in Virgo will be on hand to help you get through all the fine print.

Saturn will finally have left 29° Libra after seven looong weeks partile my Sun . . . whew! Mars in Virgo has finished his second pass over my MC and is now back in my ninth house, taking pressure off. Gee, maybe the weather will turn off nice and I will be able to enjoy hints of spring in the air!! 😀

Hmmm. Well I just scheduled a job interview for Thursday (I had the choice of Monday or Thursday or sometime the following week and, much as I wanted to jump on the Monday date, I thought having more preparation time would be better for me). I didn’t realize it at the time I scheduled, but the Full Moon that day will be exactly conjunct my Virgo Sun! And square my Saturn. I don’t know if that’s good or bad, but it’s what’s happening unless they reschedule me! I’ve been in limbo waiting to hear on another job I interviewed for a couple of weeks ago, and I just saw the job posted again so I’m thinking that’s a no-go. It seemed to be just what I was looking for, sigh. Jupiter conjunct my MC today – so (after I got over feeling very sorry for myself) I sent some emails this morning and lined up this new interview in a snap! But it’s still frustrating. You think now that everything’s going retrograde I’ll be stymied even with these nice Jupiter and Venus transits?

I really like the Full Moon conj your Sun & like most natal Sun-Saturn people, you are very, very good at coming through in the crunch. Thing about squares is they are good for giving us an edge when we need it & help us make the most of more harmonious, lazy aspects.
Mars Rx is frustrating in many ways, one of which is we never know which trip back over the same ground will produce success!

Woohoo!! This full moon is exactly conjunct my 11th house Venus! Which is also a part of the grand cross: square 3rd house Uranus, opposite 6th house Jupiter aaand square 9th house Chiron.

This move is something I’ve been thinking about and planning for a long time and at that Pisces new moon the energy was ripe and I felt like I had no other choice but to do it then (although I had originally planned in my mind to do it April 1st-because of mercury/mars going direct then).

Nope, the grand trine doesn’t make any aspects to my planets..except a wide trine to my 13 Cap mars which is conjunct my IC from the 3rd house! Does that count? My moon is 24 Aries and descendant 17 Aries.
Also I just realized my progressed moon just turned 3 degrees Aries in my 6th house, meaning t. Uranus conjunct and this Aries new moon will be conjunct!
Just so ya know this move is also a work related thing (6th house), I’m trying to find a home that is commercially zoned as well so I can start a home-based Acupuncture practice!
Also just a side note my natal Mercury and Mars are retrograde, still not sure if that makes any difference in the matter…

Others w/Mercury Rx natally have told me they enjoy those times when Mercury is Rx. My Aries has a natal Mars Rx and so far, he’s handling this Mars Rx fairly well. We’ll see if that continues once the Sun moves into Aries & puts pressure on us to expedite things. LOL

I have found this to be one emotional full moon! Lots of tears and exhaustion. I do believe I have let go of all relationships. None seem to be standing in their same form. Saturn seems to have gone in with a deep hoe!
