Libra Weekly Horoscopes for September 17, 2012

where there’s smoke, there’s fire . . .

“Where there’s smoke, there’s fire” is the theme for this week as Mercury in Libra proceeds to trigger the Uranus-Pluto square, exact on September 18-19. Whether or not this T-Square directly affects your natal chart will determine if you are an observer or a participant in the action. Those with the Sun, Moon and/or Ascendant in the cardinal signs from 5° to 7° are most vulnerable.

The combination of Pluto stationing direct followed by the second exact square to Uranus in Aries is potent. Festering situations from the past few months are the most likely to boil over and with Mercury in Libra completing the T-Square, people may say things they might later regret. Be very, very, VERY careful to think before speaking. The potential for devastating relationships is very high. The other side to this story (yes, I am a Libra) is perhaps those were relationships long overdue to be overhauled. How well we deal with the resulting pain may depend on our willingness to accept we’re only human and made a mistake. A lot of the heated rhetoric in the coming week could be due to many refusing to admit they were wrong! Touchy business.

We do get a bright spot this week . . . Venus in Leo sextile Jupiter in Gemini. These two are more than willing to find the humor in any given situation. After all, laughter is the best medicine. Sometimes the only sane thing to do is see the absurdity of it all and not take ourselves too seriously.

Saturday, September 22, is the autumnal equinox when the Sun enters Libra and the closest aspect the Sun makes is an inconjunct to Neptune in Pisces . . . a gentle lunacy perhaps? We get a taste of this aspect on Monday when Mercury in Libra is inconjunct Neptune. One thing Pisces and Venus ruled Libra share is a desire for peaceful outcomes and a willingness to indulge in denial to achieve those. Not to worry though . . . Uranus square Pluto will ripe the veils away in no time.

Not a comfortable week and one bound to bring some hard truths to the surface. Be gentle with yourself and please treat others with kindness and courtesy. No sense making things worse . . .

You may be tempted to take on anyone and everyone this week, Aries, but if you do, expect a few bruises. Your sense of frustration and the feeling you are working for idiots isn’t going to help. Keep it together as best you can.

Keep the lines of communication open with your coworkers, Taurus, if you wish to maintain any semblance of your usual daily routines. Interruptions are so not your favorite thing. Please take time for family to improve your mood and sense of well-being.

Gemini, your ability to multitask will come in handy as you navigate this week and your sense of humor will brighten the days for those you come in contact with. Keep your schedule handy though because even you can forget important dates occasionally.

Be brave, Cancer, because you stand a good chance of getting caught dealing with conflicting demands all week. Your family needs to hear from you, your boss is very impatient and please don’t neglect your partner or yourself. Plan some alone time to regroup.

As long as you take care to think before speaking, you may come through this week fine, Leo. You are feeling very fine these days and would love to spend more time socializing. Please take care of business before dashing off to play.

Monday is most problematical for you, Virgo, because your thinking might be clouded. Otherwise you’ll be fine, busy sorting out various unexpected financial issues but fine. Some promising career opportunities may appear this week for you to consider . . . don’t take too long though.

You might start off the week with some wishful thinking but it won’t last long, Libra. Handle each day as it comes and cut your partner a lot of slack as they might be all over the place. Do something nice for yourself midweek if you can.

Whether you realize it or not, Scorpio, your words carry a serious punch these days. If you get into it with others in the workplace this week, it may jeopardize the way the powers that be see you. Consider toning it down a notch or three.

Sagittarius, I’m wondering how your social life is these days? Are you meeting wonderfully unique types who keep you guessing? Or are you enjoying your time with your significant other. Whatever is going on, try to stay within your budget, all right?

This week may bring matters to a head about conflicts between family and work for you, Capricorn. You may have been able to ignore these issues but not longer. Put your personal expectations aside and prepare to listen carefully to all sides.

Perhaps the best thing you can do for yourself at this time, Aquarius, is to look at the big picture. That way you can figure out what old, unconscious patterns are holding you back. It won’t hurt to take a break midweek for some R&R.

Rather than obsessing about all the bad stuff in the news these days, Pisces, and worrying about how it will affect your finances spend some quality time with your partner at home. Do something fun and indulgent to ease your troubled mind.

If you know your Rising sign, read the horoscope for it too. 😀

  1. pfft bit of a square week all around, and of course I will be alone with hurricane kids this weekend! Might have to book a hot chocolate date with the husband on Sunday, or something. Some form of sanity break, if my square of a day today is any possible example bleh

    • Hi Pixie! 😀
pfft bit of a square week all around

Sad but true. 😛 Looks we will be living with the smoke for the rest of this week. Nasty air quality.

Hey you do get a Venus Return kissed by a sextile from Jupiter! 😀

      xoxoxo diane~

  2. Yes, and I won’t complain one bit about that either 😉 I hope to sneak in some creativity playtime to make the most of it! I did buy some background noise silencing headphones, or whatever they’re called, for that purpose alone lol Escape the seemingly never-ending dramas here and there. UGH, dreaded smoke. Just about to head into that season ourselves :/ and after a wet summer last year, we could be in for a rugged chrissie. Hope it isn’t too bad for you xo
