Libra Weekly Horoscopes for November 26, 2012

Best news this week is Mercury stationing direct on Monday! Yay! Of course, it will take most of the week to pick up speed but who cares as long as it’s moving forward. Mercury is still in Scorpio and won’t make it back to Sagittarius for a couple weeks.

Monday also has Venus in Scorpio exactly conjunct Saturn, a rather somber note to start the week on though excellent for those who are serious about such things as commitment and loyalty. The Mars-Pluto conjunction in Capricorn occurs a few hours later with plenty of reminders about where the real power lies. If you have personal planets and/or Ascendant from 5° to 10° in Scorpio and/or Capricorn, please use this energy wisely to reach your goals. The sextile between all four planets will be in effect most of the week.

Countering the Venus-Saturn conjunction on Monday is a trine between the Sun in Sagittarius and Uranus in Aries . . . no brakes needed, just go go go! Depending on whether or not you have lots of fire in your chart or water, this one will either feel great or frivolous. Could lead to impulse buying on cyber Monday.

The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Gemini on Wednesday may act like a stone dropped in water with waves spreading out in all directions. Eclipses have a way of extending the effects of a normal lunation much, much farther. Earth and water sign folk will fare better than fire and air but it is the mutables (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces) who have the greatest potential to misstep badly. Be careful out there and please treat others with respect and consideration.

From Thursday through Saturday, we have another little fun aspect pattern to contend with . . . a Yod with Jupiter in Gemini at the apex and Venus in Scorpio sextile Mars in Capricorn as the base. I see this one playing out in our relationships with loved ones, as in making extravagant promises that are impossible to keep. Keep in mind neither Scorpio nor Capricorn is a fool in any way shape or form. They both are realists and if they are in a good mood will simply roll their eyes in disbelief and acknowledge the intent to please. If not, then please recall neither sign suffers fools gladly and be prepared to pick up the pieces. The overblown romantic rhetoric Jupiter is so fond of combined with Gemini’s love of wordiness is best viewed as corny entertainment, not to be taken seriously.

Jupiter opposes the Sun in Sagittarius on Sunday, encouraging us to laugh at the absurdity of life . . . a nice end to a rather stressful week. Relax and take time to visit with friends. Keep it light and make sure religion and politics are off the table.

Overall I’d say it is a far better week for the naturally serious minded sorts who have a mission to accomplish. For those contemplating marriage or committing themselves for the long term, this is a very good time to discuss those options. Reviewing finances and coming up with viable solutions is also a good use of time this week. Don’t worry . . . there will plenty of other times for fun and games!

Aries, this is one of those times when keeping your mouth shut is far and away the best option. Just because you think you are hilarious doesn’t mean everyone else will, so rein in the impulse to let it all hang out, all right?

Whether it is your business partner or your significant other, Taurus, taking time to talk things over with them might be very fruitful this week. If money matters come up and you hear something that sounds too good to be true, it is.

In the interest of not alienating friends and coworkers, Gemini, please resist the urge to make witty remarks at their expense right now. Some of them are bound to remember those and make you pay for them at a later date. Be cautious.

If there is any chance of getting away for a romantic evening for you and your partner, Cancer, jump on it. You deserve a bit of fun for yourself, so don’t let another interfere with your scheduled plans . . . especially one of your coworkers.

Leo, you could be tempted to get caught up with your lover’s dramas though I don’t recommend it. Rather than buying into their little stories, take them with a grain of salt and enjoy the show. Family demands are still ongoing in the background.

You tend to be a stickler for the facts, Virgo, so if you hear what you know to be distorted information at work, take note. This might not be the best time to call attention to this. Do take time to relax with friends later this week.

Be darn sure you are sharing good information with others now, Libra, or it could come back on you. A better idea may be to work around the home and spruce it up some. Nothing like a fresh coat of paint to brighten things up.

You are in a great place right now, Scorpio, to rethink your long term goals. The only caution I would offer is to make darn good and sure you aren’t being overly optimistic about your income going forward. Running out of money would be awkward.

Sagittarius, you are another who needs to ride herd on your mouth. What you consider all in good fun, others might see as overbearing and obnoxious. Do your best to treat others with kindness and consideration please. Sunday is your best day this week.

Clear, focused and on task are all terms that can be applied to you now, Capricorn. You know where you need to be and who to take with you. One thing you do need to take care is your health . . . eat right, exercise etc, etc.

As tempting as it might be, making the social scene might be a distraction you can’t afford, Aquarius. You have an excellent plan for furthering your career and it would be best to stick with it. Treat yourself to some fun Sunday, OK?

Sticking your fingers in your ears to shut out the latest family drama sounds good, doesn’t it, Pisces? Either that or jumping on a plane for somewhere warm and exotic for a week or three. You may have to settle for ear buds and some good tunes.

If you know your Rising sign, read the horoscope for it too. 😀

  1. Makes my head spin this weeks astro-scape Diane. Mars/pluto 1st house transit is making me feel a bit feisty grrrr. Is eclipse in 5th house positive? I feel a bit like a rocket ready to blast off!!!! xox

    • Hi Karen!

Makes my head spin this weeks astro-scape Diane. Mars/pluto 1st house transit is making me feel a bit feisty grrrr.

LOL! Yes, it’s a busy one. However, most of the action occurs from about 4° to 11° and if you don’t have any personal planets/ASC in those degrees, the effect will be more diffuse. Mars/Pluto conj in the 1st will probably cause others to react to you as if you were a Scorpio. 🙂

Is eclipse in 5th house positive? I feel a bit like a rocket ready to blast off!!!!

That’s a lively place for the eclipse! Bring your inner child out to play. 😛
