I have to say this eclipse cycle has helped break me free of lingering effects of the recent transit of Saturn over my Libra Sun. First the Solar Eclipse in Scorpio broke up a mental log jam by conjoining my Mercury and then this week’s Lunar Eclipse in Gemini lit up my first-seventh house axis. Whilst neither eclipse were perfect by any means, I am pleased to be feeling more like my old upbeat self once more. Now if Pluto and Mars would hurry up and move off my progressed Mars-Sun in Capricorn that would be good.
Saturn is beginning to conjoin those with early degree Scorpio Suns and they get to take their turn feeling like life is giving them an unending stream of urgent responsibilities to handle. However those with their Suns from 5° to 12° Scorpio get some serious support for this transit from a sextile to Pluto in Capricorn, Scorpio’s ruler. I’m not saying this will make this transit easier but it will provide opportunities to do what Scorpio does best . . . make amazing transformations! By the way, Scorps, better not complain about this transit to your early degree Aries, Cancer and Libra Sun friends because those folks had Pluto squaring Saturn really putting the screws to their Suns. Some of those people are only now beginning to pick up the pieces of their lives and move forward.
Meandering off in a different direction to unaspected natal planets. I was studying a chart this past week where neither Venus nor Mars made major aspects to other planets. This is a phenomenon I don’t come across that often and since I don’t have any unaspected planets in my chart, I have to go by feedback from clients and educated guesses. This seems to be a bigger issue if it is the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus or Mars traveling alone because those most directly affect our everyday lives. When an outer planet is unaspected, according to astrologers like Liz Greene among others, we often experience those archetypes as people or events. However with the personal planets the result tends to be having a compartmentalized life. The area of life covered by where the planet falls by house and sign seem to operate independently. For instance, if your Venus is unaspected and falls in your fifth house, you may have pleasant love affairs that rarely impact your home and family life. You might even be surprised when other people comment on this and wonder how you can keep those separate. I know with my first house Venus trine Saturn my love affairs were very serious business and directly affected my education (Saturn is in my ninth house).
Anyone else beginning to see the impact of this eclipse cycle yet? Or if you have unaspected personal planets, how do you see those playing out in your live?
