Libra Weekly Horoscopes for January 14, 2013

capricorn

We’re still deep in Capricorn territory for one more week with the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Pluto in the tenth sign, however that all changes abruptly when first Mercury, then the Sun enters airy Aquarius on the weekend.

Venus in Capricorn recovers from her irritating square with Uranus in Aries this week, starting with a gentle sextile to Chiron in Pisces on Monday. Choose tangible means to improve the mood and sooth the sore places like having a massage or getting outdoors to reconnect with the natural world. She doesn’t quite get off scot-free though because of an inconjunct to Jupiter in Gemini who can blather on when listening more would be better.

Midweek Venus taps into the powerful Saturn-Pluto sextile by first conjoining Pluto, then moving into a sextile with Saturn in Scorpio the following day. Rather than attempting to move forward on the relationship front, it may be better to use these aspects to sort out financial issues, like putting together a budget for either yourself or your business. One thing Capricorn usually excels at is taking all the various details and organizing them into a cohesive picture. Start off with as lean a budget as possible to establish a baseline . . . it’s a whole lot easier to add than subtract later on.

The Cappy Sun will essentially be conjunct Mercury on Thursday and Friday, giving everyone an opportunity to review their plans for the coming year and make sure there are no loose ends. Once we leave Capricorn for Aquarius, it will be much more of a challenge to get your foundation in place and set your plans into motion. Aquarius is more interested in discussing far reaching ideas and developing theories than dealing with mundane practicalities.

As tempting as it might be to get ahead of ourselves, we’ll benefit more from taping into Capricorn’s knack for planning and prioritizing to get those ventures we launched on the Capricorn New Moon running smoothly. Yup! Take it one step at a time and watch Saturn smile!

The focus remains on your career sector, Aries, and if you’ve been keeping the old nose to the grindstone lately, you might receive some rewards for all your hard work this week. Heh, it could be more hard work . . .

Friends from faraway places or a favorite professor may get in touch now, Taurus, and revive some pleasant memories. You could be in the mood to socialize now too. Please do so this week because next week, career matters take center stage.

Let’s face it, Gemini, this is not usually your favorite time of year, the overall tone is too serious. Your efforts to lighten things up this week could back fire on you, so you may as well bide your time until the atmosphere changes next week.

There is a good possibility for positive feedback from your significant other or business partner now, Cancer. Whilst this might not be as warm and fuzzy as you’d like, at least you will know the hard work you’ve been putting in is appreciated.

Well what do you know, Leo, your coworkers do recognize your contributions after all! Positive recognition is very important to you and may go a long ways to easing some of the stress you’ve been living with lately. Do something fun with your partner this weekend.

If you have been feeling blocked in your ability to express yourself creatively, Virgo, hopefully this week will begin to see improvement in that regard. Intense but productive conversations late in the week may help also. The weekend’s abrupt shift could be hard on your nervous system.

This might be one of those weeks when as much as you enjoy your family, Libra, it might too much of a good thing and make you long to tell them to back off! Hang in there, a breath of fresh air will blow in this weekend.

You may be able to communicate effectively and with a degree of charm this week, Scorpio. All you need to do is figure where you want to apply this to benefit you the most. You have plenty of irons in the fire so choose carefully.

Even though most of your focus now will be on your personal finances, Sagittarius, and that’s as it should be . . . tuning into what’s going with your significant other and other family members would be good. Prevent hurt feelings if possible.

For the most part you are golden this week, Capricorn, and it is an excellent time to wrap up important agreements and discuss any remaining details for projects you’re working on. Take time this weekend to relax and enjoy yourself . . . next week brings big changes.

Hopefully you are feeling recovered from last week’s frustrations, Aquarius, and are ready to consider your next move. The time to reengage with the world at large once more is just around the corner and when it comes it will be abrupt.

Pisces, no one know how to push our buttons like family and yours may do just that early in the week. However you may also find a great deal of support and understanding from others in your social circle. The weekend ushers in a time of retreat for you.

If you know your Rising sign, read the horoscope for it too. 😀

  1. Diane,

I(Libra) initiated a legal matter on last weeks new moon on the 11th. The stellium is in my 2nd house, transiting Saturn in the 12th, Uranus in the 5th and Jupiter in the 7th. This is a real fork in the road for me and I hope I took the right one.

    • Hi Linda!
I(Libra) initiated a legal matter on last weeks new moon on the 11th. The stellium is in my 2nd house, transiting Saturn in the 12th, Uranus in the 5th and Jupiter in the 7th.

That is a big one! Interesting to note the New Moon conj your Jupiter also triggered the natal inconjunct between Jupiter and your Mars-Moon conj in the 9th house (legal matters). I see Uranus in Aries completes a T-Square w/your natal Mercury-Uranus sq. That one tends to push “do it NOW”! Good luck!

      xoxoxo diane~

  2. Thanks, Diane

I did it now, but that T-Square and Mercury-Uranus Sq. was just to powerful. As usual, you are a great help, a superb astrologer and my favorite Libra.
