Libra Weekly Horoscopes for January 28, 2013

Let’s see what is on this week’s agenda . . . how about Jupiter in Gemini stationing direct on Wednesday? The same day Saturn in Scorpio squares the Aquarius Sun! That ought to be interesting for those with personal planets at 6° in the mutable signs or personal planets at 11° in fixed signs, not to mention their friends and acquaintances.

I still feel those folks who have not taken the time to review what they have to say or have determined on a course of action without no contingency plans are most likely to hit Saturn’s wall the hardest. Sometimes these little setbacks give us an opportunity to recognize where we went wrong and fix it . . . once we get done mumbling and kicking things. As it is the Sun who is squaring Saturn, the feeling of being blocked should fade fairly quickly once the Sun moves on.

Jupiter in Gemini is ready to pick up the threads of conversations he was having when he stationed retrograde at 16° in early October. Even though he never quite forms an exact sextile to Uranus in Aries, those two will be within orb through February, blessing us with bright ideas and lively discussions.

On Friday within an hour’s time both Mars and Venus will change signs. Mars leaves airy Aquarius for the fluid waters of Pisces whilst Venus leaves reserved Capricorn for quirky Aquarius. By the way, this does not bode well for Valentine’s Day celebrations . . . Pisces sentimentality is a poor blend with cool, detached Aquarius. It won’t be until the end of February when Venus slips into Pisces that romance will have a chance to bloom. Still better not forget to give your sweetheart a Valentine though . . . just saying.

Other than the mid-week disruptions, the sky is fairly quiet and conducive to business as usual. On the weekend it will be time to celebrate Imbolc which marks the midpoint between the Winter Solstice and the Vernal Equinox in the northern hemisphere. For those of us who are weary of the cold and dark, it is the time when we can see the days are growing visibly longer.

Yes, I know you have some excellent ideas brewing, Aries, and you’d love to see those implemented ASAP. In order for that to happen it might be a good idea to run those ideas past the most pragmatic person you know. OK?!

What you may run into midweek, Taurus, is a profound difference of opinion between your partner/significant other and your boss. Consider who could make your life make your life most difficult before taking sides. Also check on various ideas for increasing your income.

As usual you have plenty of irons in the fire, Gemini, and juggling all those may take a toll on your health unless you get serious about improving your health and fitness routines. This is a good week to review your long term goals.

You do deserve a bit of fun in your life, Cancer, and you will find time later in the year. For now it might be better to place things like paying down your debts on the top of your list of priorities.

I know you don’t mind some drama in your life, Leo, though fighting with your family and your partner might not be a good idea. Matters may come to a head midweek and it’s up to you to choose how to handle this.

In order to avoid sabotaging what looks to be a breakout week for your career, Virgo, please consider avoiding taking extreme positions in discussions with coworkers. After this weekend, you may find your partner more accessible and willing to support you once more.

I know you’d love to play more, Libra, but let’s face it, you may not be in the best place financially to do that. A wiser course of action may be to work out a solid budget and focus on the essentials for now.

Getting tired of feeling like you always have to make the tough calls, Scorpio, when it comes to your household? After this week, this situation should ease some, in part because you might see your financial situation begin to improve. *fingers crossed*

Sagittarius, this week looks good for feeling like your horizons are beginning to expand once more. This ought to improve your humor and ability to be deal with those who don’t agree with you. Opportunities to explore exciting creative options are on the way.

You might not appreciate feedback from your more fiscally conservative associates midweek, Capricorn, though with all due respect they may be on to something. Weigh their input carefully before making a final decision. Looking for work? Your head hunter might have good news soon.

Take a deep breath, Aquarius, and count to ten before getting into it with your boss. This may all blow over soon, particularly if you don’t push it. What’s more important might be opportunities for creative projects to really take off! Hang in there!

You are pretty good at slipping under other people’s radar and doing your own thing, Pisces, and that may be the best policy for now. This weekend ushers in a period of renewed energy. Any special projects for your home you want to tackle?
