Libra Weekly Horoscopes for April 8, 2013

Another week of quiet skies ahead with only a couple of changes late in the week – Pluto in Capricorn stationing retrograde at 11° and Mercury finally jetting out of Pisces for Aries on Saturday. The main event though is the New Moon in Aries midweek.

By and large the Pluto station will only be critical for those with personal planets and Angles at 11° in the cardinal signs. I imagine Pluto slowing to station as a sub-sonic rumble beyond our hearing and ability to detect. That is unless you are in the midst of a major Pluto transit . . . then you are probably all too aware of everything you’ve ever felt guilty about.

Fire and air sign folk are waaaay past ready for Mercury to get the hell out of Pisces and dry out! Mercury in Aries is “honest to a fault” and if you have spent time with someone who has Mercury in Aries you know what I’m talking about. My Libra self winces just thinking about it . . . being a big proponent of tact and all that.

First half of the week is Aries on steroids with the Moon in Aries as well as the Sun, Venus, Mars and Uranus. Best take care of any last minute tidying up you need to do before the New Moon, then launch your new projects. Once the Moon enters Taurus the pace will slow some aided and abetted by the Pluto station and an inconjunct from stodgy Saturn in Scorpio to Uranus in Aries late Friday. Attempting to do too much too fast can backfire, so pace yourself. Moon in Gemini on the weekend plus Mercury entering Aries looks good for social activities of all kinds. People will be talking up a storm!

Think about your next move and where you need a fresh start this week.

Is it time for you to look in the mirror, Aries, and decide what you need to do to spruce up your image? If so, then this is the time to get started. Do take into account you are rushing around like crazy right now and plan accordingly.

Even though you are going about taking care of business as usual, Taurus, you might have plenty of ideas running around in the back of your mind. Please allow those to continue to ferment for the time being. Your time to present those is coming.

You are a happy camper now, Gemini, because opportunities may open up to expand your social horizons and meet new, interesting people. There are few things you love more than being introduced to new ways of thinking and being. Have a great time!

If you aren’t satisfied with your current career path or if you simply want to try on something new to see if it will fit, Cancer, this week might open some doors in that regard. Please do exercise your usual caution before making changes.

The travel bug could hit your hard this week, Leo . . . either that or the need to dive into a new course of study of some kind. Before you commit yourself though be sure your schedule will allow for it. Timing is critical.

You have had the urge to revitalize and transform some facet of yourself you have been less than happy with, Virgo, and now may the moment to set this into motion. The more you play with this notion the better it will sound.

Time to take a look at your one-on-one relationships to see if those are still working for you, Libra. If yes, then maybe some fine tuning will be enough to refresh those. If not, are you considering letting some go? Doubt if it will be simple . . .

Is it time for you to pull off one of your amazing transformations, Scorpio? If you have heath issues to address or life style changes to make, you couldn’t ask for a better time to make those happen. Buckle down and astonish everyone!

The urge to create and bring forth a child of your spirit is very strong now, Sagittarius. Whether you want to make art or babies, the drive to do so could surprise you and turn your life upside down. Hey, it could be fun!

Capricorn, you may find yourself wandering around your living space this week wondering if it is time to do a major remodel or even find a new place to live. Be careful to think this through rather give into impulse just because you’re bored.

The term “beginner’s mind” is very applicable to you right now, Aquarius. This is wonderful because being able to view your life through fresh eyes can produce amazing results. Feedback from close friends or siblings may help you achieve this. Good luck!

You will seldom find a better time, Pisces, to do yourself the favor of setting up a budget to ensure your personal funds are properly managed. If you get this right now and stick to it, the results will please you.

If you know your Rising sign, read the horoscope for it too. 😀

  1. Mars in Cancer sits at 10 degrees in my natal chart ~ please consider me intrigued by your forecast for Pluto going Rx. Could you possibly shed Light where I might use this transformational energy to its best advantage.

    • Welcome Annie!

Mars in Cancer sits at 10 degrees in my natal chart ~ please consider me intrigued by your forecast for Pluto going Rx.

Pluto in Cappy will be opposing your Mars & Uranus in Aries squaring it. Mars deals with expression of anger so you may get more lessons than you wish in anger management. Uranus can make Mars extremely short tempered too.

Count to ten or maybe twenty??? 🙂 Move with caution to avoid accidents too.

      take care!

      • Not that there’s never any complications, I am blessed in that I live on an organic farm surrounded by the most loving creatures that seem to speak of accepting balance in all things. My path has brought teachers in many forms, such as flower essences & healthy stream of foods to help the Inner/outer alignment. 🙂 (guessing credit could go to virgo venus/virgo cusp rising)
Sure, times where I slip into martyrdom & fail to notice how deeply a seed of resentment hides-out trying its best to tangle up a perfectly good day. 🙂 ~ so far ~ I’ve managed to run outside & pull weeds as a metaphor for ridding myself of negativity.
umm… question for ya: doesn’t natal Mars in Cancer give me a more wholesome energy that simply wants to devote itself to Home/Family? Then, add the Rx Pluto = transformation on the INNER, driven by a sure-footed mountain goat … borrowing your term, “critical” with an understanding that the Cardinal Axis ~ events take place on the world stage. Goofy ole me thought only as far as the transits houses & I got excited in a very positive way. ~ Mars 10th / Pluto 4th ~ so, back to the question: aren’t they somehow ‘reinforcing’ home/family/roots & work/career???
Also, the Awakener Uranus can befuddle me with moments where I’m just so glad to be a better me, after all’s said & done. Squares only make ya stronger … taught while still knee-high to my wise grandmother.

‘Nuff said, except for a HUGE note of appreciation for all U do! 🙂 Thank you & Namaste~

        • Hi Annie!

Not that there’s never any complications, I am blessed in that I live on an organic farm surrounded by the most loving creatures that seem to speak of accepting balance in all things. Those of us who are fortunate to live the rural life are blessed indeed. Busy but blessed! 🙂

doesn’t natal Mars in Cancer give me a more wholesome energy that simply wants to devote itself to Home/Family?

It does but Mars in Cancer is very sensitive to emotional climate and we all know how challenging living with our nearest and dearest can be. Uranus in Aries squaring this Mars may cause stress related health problems too. Squares do make us stronger but often at a cost.

If you’d like, please send me your birth data using the form on my reports page. I can figure out what’s what if I have a chart to look at. 😀
