Observations: ROAR! Mercury’s in Leo!

Mercury in Leo roars!

Mercury in Leo roars!

After spending over two month in soft-spoken Cancer, Mercury is now ready roar in Leo. Mercury entered Cancer on the first of June, turned retrograde to extend its stay and only yesterday entered fiery Leo. Fire and air signs who have been feeling stifled by all the water will now be able to express themselves with verve.

Before Mercury in Leo can hit its stride though it must first pass the gauntlet of Neptune in Pisces, Saturn in Scorpio and Pluto in Capricorn. *sigh* The inconjunct to Neptune happens on Saturday and if anything, this aspect will encourage Leo’s tendency to emote whilst sacrificing some accuracy. It is Saturn in Scorpio squaring Mercury on Sunday that will really bring it up short. Saturn has no patience with Mercury in Leo’s love of drama and may come down pretty hard on it. The second inconjunct to Pluto in Capricorn will take place on Tuesday next and Mercury may once again have to refrain from exaggerating the truth for the sake of a good story.

Don’t worry! Uranus in Aries will happily applaud all of this Mercury’s bright ideas on Wednesday, August 14! After that Mercury in Leo will be free to inspire us, make us laugh and encourage everyone to indulge in a little drama. Mercury in the fire signs are all very good at speaking their minds and Leo is no exception. Time to have some fun sharing our thoughts and feelings! Crack a few jokes and tease one another.

  1. Very interesting can’t wait what this brings from the long term Gemini I just dumped. I’m 7 deg cancer in my 7H ruled by mercury, and it ain’t been pretty. Leo gave me gumption.

Sorry to hear that . . . ending a long term relationship can be difficult even when the dominate feeling is one of relief. Please give yourself time to heal!

And yes, Leo is good for giving one gumption! *grin* It’s a fire sign thing & Leo’s specialty is helping us recognize our own value.

  2. Thanks Diane,

Libra Sun, Scorpio asc. here..have been waiting for positive developments on the career front but it’s moving frustratingly slow. The last month grand trine didn’t seem to work, atleast in my case or perhaps its results will be evident in the coming weeks and months. Saturn in the second house doesn’t look good especially when unemployed and looking for a job!!!!

    Have a great month..

    • Welcome VatsaG!

The last month grand trine didn’t seem to work, at least in my case or perhaps its results will be evident in the coming weeks and months. Saturn in the second house doesn’t look good especially when unemployed and looking for a job!!!!

I haven’t noticed much joy from the Grand Trine either & I suspect Saturn is why. Saturn almost always delays positive developments it seems like.

Is Saturn still in your 1st House? What sign is on your MC? Virgo or Leo? For employment possibilities look to the 6th & 10th houses & their rulers. If you’re interested I have an ebook on the subject – Ruler of the 6th & 10th in your Job Search. The second house deals with income & Saturn transiting the second usually teaches us how to live frugally, lessons that often come in very handy down the road but not much fun at the time. 😛

      Good luck!

      • “lessons that often come in very handy down the road but not much fun at the time.” HAHA!! You nailed it.

Well, I am not really sure about my natal chart planetry aspects and only follow the Western astrology. I thought Jupiter’s transit through my 10th house was going to be a game changer, especially after the saturn turned direct in July but it wasn’t meant to be..so the agony continues…
