Observations: Yay! Sagittarius Season is just around the corner!

When the Sun breaks out of Scorpio for the bright, open fields of Sagittarius next week on November 21, there will be loud cheers from all the fire and air folk out there. Wading through what feels like hip deep mud for weeks has gotten extremely old. Having the Sun in fiery Sagittarius only adds one more planet to the fire and air column but because it is the Sun, it counts! Fire feeds the Sun after all.

Of course, the first aspect the Sun will make is a square to Neptune in Pisces on November 24 and good sense will promptly leave the scene. Humorous stories will drift off in odd directions and may have only fragments of truth to them. Rather than getting all hot and bothered it might be wiser to laugh and move on.

The following weekend on November 30 will be when the Sun is trine Uranus in Aries. This very exciting aspect is great for being adventurous and exploring new options. Since the Sun will also be semi-sextile Pluto in Capricorn around the same time, Pluto will pipe up and remind everyone about the consequences of going too far out on a limb.

The Sun gains additional support from Mercury joining it in Sagittarius on December 4 followed by Mars entering Libra on December 7. Whilst the balance of elements will still favor earth and water, all the elements will be represented once again. It will be possible to maintain a degree of detachment during the decision making process again. I can hardly wait . . . 😀

On December 10 when the Sun is inconjunct Sagittarius’s ruler, Jupiter in Cancer, Saturn in Scorpio will be semi-sextile the Sun. Here again the more extreme ideas will be keep in check by cold logic and reason. Nonetheless a generally upbeat mood should prevail in part because Jupiter will be trine Saturn at that time.

Enjoy the Sun’s stay in jovial Sagittarius. Make time to celebrate with friends and family if you can. The Winter Solstice when the Sun enters somber Capricorn is also the day Venus in Capricorn stations retrograde and that may take some of the fun out of holiday gatherings.
