The Week in Brief for February 10, 2014 plus Updates

This is the week when we find out if the choices we’ve been making recently were good ones or not. Last week we were operating under the influence as it were, with Mercury in Pisces stationing retrograde in the company of Neptune. The week before was the amazing Aquarius New Moon sextile Uranus in Aries, a brilliant but erratic aspect.

When the Aquarius Sun squares dour Saturn in Scorpio on Tuesday and Mercury reenters Aquarius on Wednesday, the fog will begin to lift and reveal what may be a hard, cold reality. How hard and how cold depends on the amount of common sense drawn on during the decision making process.

If we need to regroup, there are two aspects over the weekend to give us a hand. On Saturday, the Sun will conjoin Mercury in Aquarius which can help us find a new perspective. Then Mercury will be sextile Mars in Libra on Sunday, excellent for carving out new ideas and putting them into motion.

It is the Full Moon in Leo on Valentine’s Day, February 14, which might prove to be a real eye opener. The lunar axis squares Saturn in Scorpio whilst Jupiter in Cancer completes a T-Square with Uranus and Pluto. I have the feeling plenty of people are going to falling all over themselves pointing out what they see as flaws in other people’s plans. Needless to say, it probably won’t be pretty. I’m hoping to post more about this event later this week!

This is one of those times when admitting we were wrong and eating humble pie is the wise move. It will save everyone a lot of grief in the long run. Just saying . . .

As you can see I’ve made a few changes around here and there may be more. The color scheme seems to feel right for the most part. There are more minor details to tweak but those can be fixed any time. I’m aiming to be back to my usual posting schedule soon. Please let me know what you think! 😀

Another project I’m close to finishing is my second ebooklet on the outer planets in synastry. It’s a compilation of material I’ve written in the past for the most part. When I was collecting it, I discovered I hadn’t written anything about Uranus in synastry, much to my surprise. Weird but that’s Uranus.

  1. I missed your weekly horoscopes, but I really like the new look! Happy you did not change the type of letter, or too much lay out. The colors you use are my favorites and give a nice tranquil feeling. A bit Pisces I must say 🙂

    • I’m hoping to have the individual ‘scopes back next week.

It is a very Pisces look, isn’t it? 😀

  2. I would be happy with some people having to face a cold, hard reality and having to eat humble pie. Too many people around me have grown their egos far too big (especially a few Sadge “friends”) and need to be brought back to earth ASAP. One has been on a huge power trip, deciding to tell me I am doing everything wrong in my personal life (absolutely a huge no-no)!

  3. This helps clarify recent events. Last Sunday my heaters quit working. I had recently decided to stop any more repairs in this place & focus on my own healing. Stark reality hit as I became immobilized in fear around finances for MORE repairs and the consequent BS from the repairpeople. I’ve had to regroup & revisit just what the heck am I doing here?
Thank you for the heads up for today (Merc Sextile Mars). I’ll be on the lookout for solutions. Thankfully it’s warmed up quite a bit.

Lovely Full Moon activated my natal Chiron/Ceres/Asc T-square. Since T Saturn is conjunct my Asc, I’m in for some (more) work & responsibility.

I like your new color scheme, it is beautiful here, as always!

    • Hi anita!
Since T Saturn is conjunct my Asc, I’m in for some (more) work & responsibility.

Since your ASC is 23°, Saturn is going to be within a degree for quite some time. My Mercury is 22° Scorp & I’m still very aware of Saturn sitting there. Time to keep the focus short and tackle one issue at a time. We’ll make it! 🙂

Were you able to stay warm enough?

      xoxoxoxo diane~
