Aries Season rolls in this week on Thursday, March 20. Chances are very good it will be a lively one for almost everyone but especially those with personal planets or Ascendant from 9° to 15° in the cardinal signs. The square between Jupiter in Cancer and Uranus in Aries waxes stronger, disturbing the atmosphere and keeping us from being able to settle back into our routines. However the real fireworks are still a week or so off. This week we can enjoy the sense of quickening and renewal the start of a new zodiac year brings. There is already so much angst out there over the Grand Cross I don’t want to add to it.

Wave goodbye to Mercury in Aquarius, all you air signs. It has been wonderful having three planets in air but we all knew it wasn’t going to last that long. On Monday Mercury slips back into the gentle waters of Pisces, retracing steps taken back in the first week or so of February. By Saturday Mercury will exactly conjoin Neptune in Pisces and it will up to us to choose whether to lose our selves in our dreams or choose to spread kindness and compassion around us. We need to get out of our heads and back into our hearts once more.

Venus is still in airy Aquarius and she starts off the week playing footsie with the Jupiter-Uranus square on Monday and Tuesday. First she makes an inconjunct to Jupiter in Cancer and then a sextile to Uranus in Aries. The potential here is to jump all over any excuse to play, often to the point of excess. For those out celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, have a grand time but keep in mind it is a week night and working with a hangover is really, truly unpleasant.

The transition from Pisces to Aries may be less clear cut than usual with Mercury in Pisces in a waxing conjunction to Neptune and water dominating the equinox chart. We can use this to our advantage to stay open and flexible in this time of change. Keeping our options open and having several backup plans in mind makes more sense than holding to one set of expectations.

The pick-me-up you get this week, Aries, should feel darn good to you. It looks like you are going to begin to get your head back in the game again and as long as you exercise some restraint you should be good to go.

Discussions with your supervisors on Monday and Tuesday, Taurus, need to be handled carefully. If you give in to urge to push your agenda too hard, it might backfire on you. Spending time with friends on the weekend may be pleasant but odd.

Switching mental gears this week from delightfully logical to intuitive could give you fits, Gemini, because you far prefer to solve problems using an intellectual approach. Dreams can play a bigger role in your decision making process, especially next weekend.

Monday and Tuesday may test your ability to handle work related issues in a calm and sensible manner, Cancer. Do your very best though because your work in general is going to take on a bigger role in the weeks ahead. Time to start dreaming about your next vacation?

Speaking of doing some traveling, you could find yourself yearning to jump on a plane and go far, far away, Leo. Your relationship with your significant other may have an effect on this need to get away. Any discussions also need to include an honest assessment about affordability.

The headaches of tax season are about to descend on you, Virgo, and even though you are usually very well prepared to handle all the paperwork involved, that might not be the case this year. The urge to wish it all away is strongest next weekend.

If you can make it through Monday without losing the plot, Libra, you should be fine. By midweek you might notice your one-on-one relationships begin to demand more of your attention, for better or worse. Being flexible and open to change is your best option these days.

As you may already know, Scorpio, your knack for tapping into your unconscious through your dreams is usually an excellent source of creative inspiration for you. This ability gets an extra lift starting this week. It’s also time to review your daily health routines.

Be careful of going overboard with the sweet talking first thing this week, Sagittarius, though with your luck you will probably manage just fine. Pay attention to being very honest and straightforward in your conversations with family this week or risk losing their respect.

One of your many secrets to success, Capricorn, is your ability to intuitively grasp the big picture in a holistic manner. What you might want to keep in mind this week is you could slip over the line into wishful thinking, more so as the week goes on.

Over the coming weeks, Aquarius, you may find yourself communicating more frequently with close friends and spending more time running around your immediate neighborhood. This week may bring the need to avoid wishful thinking when it comes to your personal finances.

Making a decent first impression this week, Pisces, may be a little trickier than you may realize and you might end up putting too much “spin” on your presentation. This situation looks to improve next week. Remind yourself the time has come to review your personal financial situation too.

If you know your Rising sign, read the horoscope for it too. 😀

  1. Hi Diane, I really respond to that header image with the caption because it confirms my sense that being authentic, myself, encourages others to become more authentic– when they are ready for it. Those who aren’t, fall away or drift away or stay away.

Some subtle changes have happened in me over the last 8 weeks or so, some of them so very subtle that it takes an effort to notice them, but they’re there. Others have confirmed or pointed out the changes. More and more it appears I’m right where I need to be, although I can sense a desire for a change of employment stirring within.

On another note, my dad’s Asc is being transited, to the degree, by Pluto (Of course it’s an estimated birth time so I can’t be 100% sure of anything). He’s having major health issues, not surprisingly. I reviewed Donna Cunningham’s “Healing Pluto Problems” and I think I know what Pluto is asking of him. If so, I hope he can do the inner work required.

  2. Sorry that wasn’t supposed to be a question mark! Thinking of you both.

Aries Season is shaping up to be quite the ride already.
