The New Moon in Virgo on Monday lets us know Leo Season is over for another year and it’s time to embrace a new reality with very different priorities. For the next week it would behoove us to use the rule, K.I.S.S. (keep it simple, stupid), as a guideline. Clean, efficient, practical offerings are the ones I vote as most likely to be heard. Don’t dress it up, choose simplicity instead.
Monday has a whole list of exact aspects starting with Mercury in Virgo sextile Mars in Scorpio and then sextile Saturn in Scorpio. These two aspects complete the Yod with Uranus in Aries at the apex which has been such a pain in the backside! Mars conjoins Saturn in Scorpio on Monday too. The jarring demands of Uranus on both Mars and Saturn in stubborn Scorpio created plenty of turmoil in many people’s lives including mine over the past few days. Thankfully we are about at the end of the aspects Mars makes with the last one being the square to Venus in Leo on Wednesday. After that it is free to do its own thing until it leaves Scorpio’s waters for free-wheeling Sagittarius on September 13.
Speaking of Venus in Leo, she goes from a sublime trine to Uranus in Aries on Monday (yes, one more aspect on Monday) to running into a brick wall called Saturn in Scorpio the following day with the aforementioned square to Mars on Wednesday. I have the feeling the course of true love is not going to run smoothly this week. Best advice I can offer is this: Don’t take your lover for granted and expect them to be eternally forgiving. Leo has a bad habit of believing they are so amazing they can get away with anything, and while that may work with another fire sign, it surely won’t with Scorpio. They will walk away for good without a backward glance if they feel they can no longer trust the person they gave their heart to.
Calm begins to return by Thursday though it might take far longer for the aftershocks of the Yod and Mars conjunct Saturn to fade. A source of healing may come from an opposition between the Virgo Sun and Neptune in Pisces on Friday. Both Virgo and Pisces are signs who deeply care about others and when Virgo sensibilities combine with Pisces compassion a wonderful environment can be created to heal wounded hearts and minds.
This has the potential to be an “all’s well that ends well” sort of week if we work on letting go of our grievances and moving forward. One way to do that is by picking up the pieces and focusing on resuming our usual daily routines. Virgo excels at putting lives back in order, one piece at a time. Remember to eat right, get enough rest and practice kindness to yourself and others! Choose to see people’s virtues, not their flaws.
If you know your Rising sign, please read the horoscope for it too. 😀
The frustrations, delays and repeated blockages you’ve been encountering lately, Aries, should begin to ease as the week progresses. Something you may want to start restoring is your daily routines, especially the ones you do to maintain and improve your health and sense of well being. As much as you enjoy a challenge, too many can be stressful.
The active resistance you might have been experiencing in your one-on-one relationships, Taurus, peaks early this week though it won’t completely go away. What you can be grateful for is a renewed sense of creativity and interest in enjoying life’s simple pleasures. Do something to express your inner child to brighten your days.
If you are in the midst of planning some sort of make-over for your home, Gemini, you have all the tools at your disposal to organize all the details. Finding time to sit down and get serious about this project should get easier as your very active social life slows some.
In your case, Cancer, those irritating and unexpected demands at work should start to decrease now and you might even be able to enjoy a sweet, romantic conversation with a serious love interest. Those of you who are married with children will enjoy being able to spend more time with them.
Even though the spotlight is off of you for another year, Leo, you are still in a reasonably good place though you might want to subdue your inner drama queen for the first part of this week. The intense irritation you might be feeling where family is concerned fades some this week.
I know you aren’t crazy about being so visible, Virgo, but don’t say no to some very well deserved recognition for all your tireless efforts on behalf of others. Your mind is strong and your ability to sort out what’s relevant and what’s not is exceptionally good the first part of the week. Use this skill wisely!
If your one-on-one relationships have been driving you up a wall recently, Libra, it does look like those interruptions and distractions could begin to die down this week. However if one more organization calls you asking for money, I can about guarantee they won’t like what you have to say!
You might have felt like every time you turned around, Scorpio, someone else was adding to your responsibilities and this might have been especially true of coworkers looking to go on vacation. One way or another that is ending this week, isn’t it?! Relax with like-minded friends on the coming weekend.
If you don’t put a stop to letting your desire to play whenever interfere with your work, Sagittarius, the powers that be behind the scenes might step in and do it for you. One way or another you need to refocus on your career goals. Time to start doing something you love to earn your way?
Your home life should begin to quiet down some this week, Capricorn, which hopefully will allow you to work on some ideas you have about going back to school or doing some traveling. Perhaps you can combine those two because they are not mutually exclusive after all. Be adventurous!
You have been known to say things to shock and awaken people, Aquarius, but you might have gone a little too far recently, especially if it has affected your ability to complete your long term goals. If you have investments to manage, now is a good time to look into doing so.
Even if your week starts off with too many demands and too little time to respond to them, Pisces, please hang in there and above all, don’t shut your partner out. As the dust settles later in the week, being able to mend fences and reconnect with them is a strong possibility.
