By the end of the week, the sky will be almost 180° from where it was at the beginning. We shift from a strongly cardinal air sky (Libra) to one dominated by fixed water (Scorpio). There is a powerful New Moon Solar Eclipse in Scorpio to keep life interesting and Mars leaves fiery Sagittarius for the sign it is exalted in, earthy Capricorn. And last but not least, Mercury will station direct at 16° Libra on Saturday. I can feel my Libra scales becoming unbalanced just thinking about all those changes.
The first part of the week clearly belongs to Libra. On Monday Mercury in Libra is sextile Jupiter in Leo with lingering traces of Venus in Libra sextile Mars in Sagittarius. The Moon enters Libra on Tuesday, and remains there until the start of Scorpio season and the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Scorpio on Thursday. How we perceive the world around us is filtered through the intellect the first part of the week and even with Mercury slowing to station direct, this approach works well. It is the Scorpio New Moon that marks the major energy shift from air to water.
One thing to remember about Scorpio is attempting to force them to do something against their will is exceedingly difficult. Fixed water seems like a contradiction unless you think of ice . . . as in glaciers of ice. Think about what happens when those puppies move across the landscape and how practically nothing stops them. The zero degree Scorpio New Moon seems bound and determined to scour out emotional garbage for once and for all.
For me and many of the rest of you, Mercury stationing direct at 16° Libra this weekend will be greeted with a huge sigh of relief. Please keep in mind Mercury will be at a virtual standstill for several days on either side of the station, so the feeling of being stuck will not go away immediately. Mercury in Libra will be Air’s sole representative until it slips into Scorpio on November 9, when we enter another airless period.
Mars happily enters Capricorn on Sunday where it is exalted. Capricorn’s direct, purposeful approach suits the red planet. It was fun having Mars in playful Sagittarius but we can get used to having this Mars help us get out the door and get to work.
We can adapt to the new atmosphere if we give ourselves a chance to do so. I will use the phrase “go with the flow” because as trite as it is, it is appropriate to the sharp energy changes happening this week. Swimming upstream is exhausting after a while, right?
If you know your Rising sign, please read the horoscope for it too. 😀
If you find yourself going around wrapping up loose ends this week, Aries, your instincts are sound because all too soon it will be time to focus like a laser on your career. By this time next week, you could be looking a whole new agenda to work with. By the way conversations with your partner should make more sense too.
As much as you dislike changes in your routines, Taurus, the ones coming down the pike now should prove quite welcome. Interactions with your partner, either business or personal, may become far more pleasant and you might feel your interest in learning something new begin to revive. Patience becomes you now.
There are both pluses and minuses ahead for you, Gemini. You have probably been enjoying how your creative side has blossomed in recent weeks and it is going to be hard to see that diminish in the days ahead. On the plus side is once you get past some mental sluggishness over the weekend, your mind should rapidly get back up to speed.
Time to put the finishing touches on any home improvement projects you may have in the works, Cancer, and start thinking about what you would like to do for fun! More moisture in the atmosphere should be very nurturing for you and allow your spirits to lift once more.
You’ve had a great run recently, Leo, with plenty of attention and perhaps a nice turn of luck or two. Now it is time for you to become more involved with your home and family. This will probably turn out to be surprisingly enjoyable for you, OK?
The changes coming in this week are very promising for you, Virgo. You could feel like your mind has been given a good scrubbing, and it may take a few days to realize what a gift you’ve been given. Staying on task over the weekend may be challenging so give yourself a break.
It has been fun, hasn’t it, Libra? But it is now time for someone else to enjoy some well deserved recognition. Now you need to turn your attention to figuring out what you truly value and in order to do so, you might need to follow your instincts rather than your intellect. This may turn out to be easier than you think!
You are almost ready to reemerge and take the world on again, Scorpio, and this time it will be on your terms. Your preference for sitting back and drawing others to you is going to be working beautifully for you. You still have a few days of contemplation left before making your appearance.
There are only a few days left of this excellent run for you, Sagittarius, so savor those while you can. On the weekend you may begin to realize it is time to devote some serious effort to improving your cash flow. Your luck could be more muted going forward.
I can just about guarantee you will find the atmosphere at the end of this week far more to your liking, Capricorn. First you may need to make sure you aren’t leaving things undone at work. If you have projects to wrap up, please do it now even if it means having to double check everything for accuracy later.
Play time is about over, Aquarius, and you will probably miss the wealth of free flowing ideas that have been so much fun to play with. However it is time to turn your attention back to your long term goals. There is a fresh feeling in the air, so calm your mind and open your heart.
You should have the energy this week to make one last big push at work, Pisces, before you can slow down and consider taking some vacation time. The changes coming in late this week could be very good for you and help restore your sense of equilibrium. Enjoy the difference!
