If you have the sense there is plenty happening beneath the surface of daily life, you are probably right. Scorpio Season is in full swing this week and Scorpio always knows far more than it tells. The water is deep and will get deeper next weekend when Mercury leaves Libra for Scorpio. “Genial but implacable” is probably the best way to describe the overall tone now.
On Monday Venus in Scorpio is inconjunct Uranus in Aries. One of the challenges facing Venus in possessive Scorpio is curbing her tendency towards jealousy and I can easily imagine Uranus creating a scenario guaranteed to trigger all of Venus in Scorpio’s latent insecurities. Uranus is all about breaking rules and running free, not ideal for the type of committed relationship Venus in Scorpio favors.
Another aspect occurring Monday is the Scorpio Sun sextile Pluto in Capricorn. This is a power aspect since Pluto is Scorpio’s co-ruler and very comfortable with the ever pragmatic Scorpio Sun. Capricorn and Scorpio are both happiest working towards solutions based on common sense, practical considerations. Anyone who is seeking support for their projects need to keep that firmly in mind because cutting edge ideas are going to be a hard sell at this time.
The Scorpio Sun takes its turn feeling the heat from Uranus in Aries on Wednesday, the day before the Full Moon in Taurus. Aries can be rather naïve at times, full of bright hopes and expectations. Running afoul of Scorpio’s more cynical view of life can have painful consequences for Aries. Even if Uranus wins a round or two now, Scorpio will simply abide and wait until a better moment to exact revenge.
This looks like a classic Taurus Full Moon. Taurus’s ruler, Venus, conjoins the Sun and the sky is full of planets in fixed signs . . . the perfect set up for no surprises allowed. Sometimes the pace of life gets so frantic it is critical to check and make sure we haven’t lost sight of where we are going. Establish sensible short term goals that are easily attainable, and take time on a regular basis to make sure those align with long term goals.
When Mercury slips into watery Scorpio on Saturday, we will be waving goodbye to our last planet in air except for the Moon until Mars rolls out of Capricorn into Aquarius on December 4. What this means is we will have to consciously make an effort to gain perspective and detachment. Not the best circumstances for getting a rational response either. Mercury in Scorpio favors those with a high degree of emotional intelligence.
A passionate square between Venus in Scorpio and Jupiter in Leo is the prevailing influence for the weekend. When Venus and Jupiter are square, they are noted for having no respect for normal satiation limits. I suppose the question is how you want to feel when Monday rolls around. *smirk*
If you know your Rising sign, please read the horoscope for it too. 😀
Let’s face it, Aries, patience is not generally considered to be your strong suit and this week it could be number crunchers, bankers and lawyers who could drive you around the bend. If you want help with this, your partner may have some helpful suggestions on how to be more tactful and diplomatic.
This week’s tempo definitely favors your natural pace, Taurus, as well as your need to stop and smell the roses once in awhile. Your one-on-one relationships are looking good right now and may even inspire you to think about having people over for dinner on the weekend. It should be a genial gathering.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, Gemini, but after this week you probably won’t find it as comfortable for the way you prefer to operate for a few weeks. Finish up any outstanding creative projects you have going now if you can, while your mind still feels fresh and lively.
Except for the possibility of having to handle unanticipated issues at work the first of the week, Cancer, the watery atmosphere now works in your favor. You are usually quite good with emotional nuances and picking up on what others are feeling. Do spend time socializing with your friends and associates now.
Channeling your energy into your home and family life now, Leo, looks like a good option for you. For the most part your career takes second place at this time though mid-week that may change briefly. If you choose to party on the weekend, be aware overdoing it may happen quite easily.
Coming up with the right words to put others at ease comes easily now, Virgo, and that’s always a good thing in this Libra’s opinion. 😀 Now is a good time to give your close friends a call and catch up with what’s going on in each other’s lives.
For the most part, Libra, you could find yourself thinking about mundane necessities like budgeting and what is truly important to you. Is it time to go through your house with an eye to deciding what you can still use and what needs to tossed or recycled? Dealings that need clear, rational thought are best handled this week.
Other than some pesky unexpected interruptions in your daily routine the first of the week, Scorpio, you should experience more cooperation from others this week and that includes your partner. Putting your most charming face forward is still working quite well for you but this effect will begin to fade after this week.
For you, Sagittarius, this is a time better suited for quiet contemplation of your sins than running around being very visible. One thing you might want to move higher on your “to do” list is taking a look at your work habits. These could be highlighted mid-week, for better or worse.
These days you are a force to be reckoned with, Capricorn, and it would be a good idea to double check how others see you. If you get feedback suggesting you are coming across too forcefully, now is the time to make adjustments. Being too confrontational is not the best look for you.
What you want to do when you grow up, Aquarius, continues to be a strong theme in your life this week. Be careful how you present information at work the first of the week or you may find yourself in an awkward position. Midweek brings a reminder of the need to balance family and career.
Pisces, I’m hoping you are a happy little fish these days! Hopefully some of you are on vacation swimming in new waters and having a wonderful time. You are another who may to be tempted to overindulge this weekend which could impact your health more than you realize.
