After all the alarms and excursions last week, this week will be blessedly tame. Venus in Taurus sets the tone early in the week with a sextile to dreamy Neptune in Pisces and she finishes the week square to dramatic Jupiter in Leo. Even the exuberant Sun in Aries is being gently restrained by a trine to Saturn in Sagittarius mid-week. Hey, we can use a break from all the excitement!
Romance is alive and well with sensual Venus in Taurus walking arm in arm with Neptune. This Venus appreciates gifts of flowers, chocolate and fine wine. If the weather permits, go for a walk in your favorite park and enjoy the spring flowers. Where I live daffodils are blooming along with some tulips and fragrant hyacinths. Taurus loves strolling casually along in the fresh air and sunshine.
If you love to garden and it’s still looking like winter in your area, check to see if there are flowering plants available to give you a taste of spring. The Venus-Neptune sextile is excellent for starting new plants and giving your green thumb a boost.
I like the trine between the Aries Sun and Saturn for getting some serious work done. When the drive and energy of Aries is given focus and purpose by Saturn, all sorts of obstacles can be overcome. Saturn helps us set realistic, reachable goals which encourage us to reach even higher after we complete them.
The Venus-Jupiter square will probably resonate over the weekend, especially on Sunday when the Moon is in Leo. If you have Easter candy in the house and you don’t want to eat it all, have the person with the most resistance to sweets hide it! The tendency to overindulge in your vice of choice will be very hard to resist because both Taurus and Leo love their treats!
The Moon starts the week in amiable Taurus before moving into witty Gemini Tuesday morning. The Gemini Moon gives us some much needed Air to sharpen our curiosity and trade snappy comebacks with our friends. Midday Thursday, the Moon enters her home sign of Cancer and on Friday evening it will run afoul of the Uranus-Pluto square which may result in some cranky moments with family. It is late Saturday night/early Sunday morning when she makes her entrance into dramatic Leo, ending the week on an upbeat note.
