Unless you are one of those lucky souls with personal planets in the mid-degrees of the cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn) and may already be feeling the effects of the Lunar Eclipse on April 4, this week should flow along smoothly.
There are a couple of transitions taking place Monday and Tuesday – Mercury leaves sensitive Pisces for assertive Aries late Monday and Mars says goodbye to Aries before entering Taurus on Tuesday. We still have the same number of planets in Aries but without Mars in Aries adding fuel to the fire, it should feel saner. That being said, Mercury in Aries is totally unafraid to share opinions on any subject . . . loudly.
Mars in Taurus seldom hurries and has a very long fuse. However when this Mars is roused to take action, he will trample over anyone who dares cross him. As with Mars in the other fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius), people with Mars in Taurus are not likely to be very forgiving either. On the plus side, these folks are steady, consistent workers for the most part whose employers usually love them.
Until the weekend, it’s all trines and sextiles. Venus in Taurus is trine earthy Pluto in Capricorn early Monday, then sextile Chiron in Pisces on Wednesday. This puts her in a very good mood and bodes well for lovers and those contemplating making a major purchase of some kind.
Mercury and the Sun in Aries have their happy moments on Thursday when Mercury is trine Saturn in Sagittarius and the Sun is trine Jupiter in Leo. Optimism rules the skies on Thursday!
Once the Moon enters Libra very early Friday, the tension begins to increase and Saturday is the Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in Libra. This is not an easy lunation by any means since Uranus conjoins the Sun with Pluto in Capricorn squaring both luminaries. The Aries Sun exactly squares Pluto on Sunday and exactly conjoins Uranus on Monday. In my more optimistic moments, I see this eclipse as a time when many realize making a clean break with the past and moving forward is a positive step in the right direction. It is also the last lunation where both Uranus and Pluto will aspect the luminaries at the same time.
The Moon’s journey this week starts in fiery Leo and ends in embattled Libra. Tuesday morning shortly after Mars enters Taurus, the Moon arrives in Virgo and earth gains more ground. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday look to be the best days this week for being solidly productive and definitely the best for doing detail work. Usually a Libra Moon is good for planning social activities but not this month. Put those on hold for another week if you can.
Make good use of the relative quiet leading up the lunar eclipse weekend, then practice kindness, patience and tolerance until this latest storm blows. It will . . . eventually.
