Monday could be fine or rather awful . . . it all depends on how you celebrated the Scorpio Full Moon the day before. Jupiter in Leo looks like the culprit and the square between Jupiter and the Taurus Sun is exact early Monday morning. Excess is excess, whether it is too much food and drink or too much time playing in the sun. Both can have painful consequences.
Getting back on track is aided by a potent trine between Pluto in Capricorn and the Taurus Sun early Wednesday. We’ve seen far more of Pluto’s nasty side in recent months and, as hard as it might be to get our heads around, he does have a good side. As a power source Pluto is hard to beat. Draw on this duo to set priorities and streamline mundane projects. Capricorn and Taurus are both excellent at spotting bargains and working very hard to achieve their goals.
This week Venus leaves fun loving Gemini for sweet, sensitive Cancer. Witty remarks and flirtatious comments are no longer Venus’s favorite way to express her affections. Cancer prefers to show her love with good food and plenty of hugs. Venus quietly moves into Cancer on Thursday and the first aspect she makes is an inconjunct to Saturn in Sagittarius early Sunday morning. Sagittarius just doesn’t get Cancer and Saturn’s stern demeanor can make Venus feel unloved. Not a happy combination for celebrating Mother’s Day here in the USA.
Another aspect that may create problems on the weekend is a square between Mercury in Gemini and Neptune in Pisces on Saturday. Vague promises and outright lies are possible when these two are square. Make every effort to communicate in an honest, clear manner to avoid misunderstandings.
Monday finds the Moon still in reserved Scorpio before breaking out into fiery Sagittarius on Tuesday. Whenever the Moon is in a fire sign these days, it makes favorable aspects to Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus which means we may feel reenergized and ready to go Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Sobriety returns with the Capricorn Moon on Thursday and Friday is our Cardinal Crunch day when the Moon hits the Uranus-Pluto square. It will be late Saturday afternoon before the Moon enters Aquarius for a couple of days. Sunday afternoon looks the best for social activities when the Aquarius Moon is trine Mercury and sextile Saturn.
Once we get past the Monday blahs, this could turn out to be a decent week. Use this time wisely because Mercury in Gemini begins to slow down late next week as it prepares to station retrograde on May 18.
