Yes, I know we are well into Cancer Season with a very damp sky but this week will feature some lighthearted, creative fire and air! Venus conjoins Jupiter in Leo and both of them are happily dancing with Mercury in Gemini and Uranus in Aries. All four planets are between 19° to 22° and this will be especially sweet for those with personal planets in fire and air at those degrees.
The Venus-Jupiter conjunction at 21° Leo takes place very early Wednesday morning, the same day as a rather contentious Full Moon in Capricorn. The benefits from this warm, generous conjunction have been brightening the atmosphere since last week and will continue through this coming weekend. The only downside might be a tendency towards lavish spending because Leo does love expensive gifts, both to give and receive.
Mercury in Gemini is exactly sextile Uranus in Aries Thursday midday, sparking our minds into high gear. On Friday big ideas come into our heads when Mercury is sextile Jupiter in Leo. It won’t be until early Sunday when Mercury is sextile Venus in Leo . . . perfect for charming the socks off your lover.
You water signs get your kisses from a loving trine between the Cancer Sun and Neptune in Pisces on Wednesday. It is one of the best aspects at work on the Full Moon. For those lucky souls who have personal planets or an Ascendant at 9° Scorpio, it will complete a Grand Trine in water. All that compassionate kindness spilling over says this is a good time to make amends with parents and other estranged family members.
Fire signs get a lift at the beginning of the week with a lively Sagittarius Moon on deck. Tuesday is better yet because that is when the Sagittarius Moon makes a rolling Grand Trine in fire with Venus, Jupiter and Uranus. Once the Moon enters Capricorn early Wednesday morning it brings us back to reality and reminds us we have business to take care. Thursday finds the Cappy Moon at odds with the fire and air planets, most likely squabbling about who spent what and why. Better make sure you have all the necessary facts and figures to back those expenditures up. As we head off to work on Friday we have an Aquarius Moon adding some much needed air. Being able to reassess our problems from a more detached point of view can be a real blessing. On Saturday the Aquarius Moon and the fire planets (Venus, Jupiter and Uranus) are all about getting together with friends and associates to play. Sunday the Pisces Moon takes over and eases any lingering tensions via a trine to Mars in Cancer.
Spending time with like-minded people this week will probably work out better and be less stressful for everyone. The compartmentalized quality is felt most keenly on the Full Moon. For the most part, a relaxed, convivial atmosphere will prevail thanks to the air and fire action. A work hard, play hard sort of week.
