Finding a way to bring people to a consensus on this Full Moon at 07° 56′ Aquarius, 31 July 2015, 03:43 AM PDT will take some serious work. This is a See Saw chart revolving around an opposition between the luminaries and the most desirable place to be is on middle ground. Neptune in Pisces forms the closest aspects to the Sun and Moon, an inconjunct to the Leo Sun and a semi-sextile to the Aquarius Moon . . . not exactly the best for finding commonalities. It is critical to respect other people’s sensitivities rather than steamrollering over them.
Uranus and Saturn are both traditional rulers of Aquarius and both are active in the Full Moon chart. Uranus in Aries makes a waning square to Mars in Cancer and a waxing trine to Mercury in Leo. We may be able to come up brilliant solutions only to run into serious problems with implementation. Mars in Cancer likes to do things the way Mom or Dad did and may resist innovative methods. My thought about this potential standoff is to wait. Mars is in the process of pulling away from Uranus, heading towards Leo (August 8) where it will be much more receptive to Uranus inspired plans. Besides, Mars in Cancer is gaining more support by the day from Saturn in Scorpio and their trine will be exact on August 6. It is time to go into a holding pattern for a week or so.
Speaking of Saturn in Scorpio, it is not only making the waxing trine to Mars but is also squaring Jupiter in Leo and poor, innocent Venus in Virgo. The final Jupiter-Saturn square in Leo and Scorpio is August 3 and is already in effect. Saturn has no intention of going along with Jupiter’s extravagant plans and for those with personal planets at 27° – 28° in the fixed signs, this one is bound to hit home. While Venus conjoins Jupiter, as long as she is in Virgo she will be more inclined to support Saturn in Scorpio. Go for frugality and simplicity instead of living large. Venus is retrograde on the Full Moon and will move back into Leo within a few hours, another reason to reconsider spending beyond our means.
Mercury in Leo is another personal planet in an interesting position. It forms a waning inconjunct to Pluto in Capricorn, exact on July 29 and makes a waxing trine to Uranus in Aries, exact on August 2. Pluto in Capricorn is all about insisting its rules be followed; no matter if they make sense or not, while Uranus in Aries is delighted to break every rule in the book. This is exactly opposite to the situation with Mars in Cancer where breaking free of restrictions could land one in a world of hurt and coloring within the lines was best. No wonder this lunation could leave our heads spinning and induce cognitive dissonance in many people.
In our search for middle ground on this Aquarius Full Moon, it does help having the elements in balance: Four planets in fire plus one in air equal three planets in water and two in earth. The Aquarius Moon will provide some necessary objectivity and detachment, something in short supply these days.
By the way, it takes far less energy to stay poised and centered than running from one end of the see saw to the other. Use what this Full Moon lights up in our lives wisely, be kind when processing what is reveled and patient about making the necessary adjustments while moving towards a better place. No reason we can’t have some fun doing all of this either . . . it is Leo Season after all!
