Getting in too big a hurry this week could result in more problems than solutions. We do have a strong green light to push forward when Mars in Leo is trine dynamic Uranus in Aries on Tuesday but there are other more subtle indicators urging caution.
One of those is an ongoing semi-sextile between Chiron in Pisces and Uranus in Aries, both now at 19°. Uranus in Aries is driven to do whatever it takes to feel unfettered and free. It doesn’t care whose toes it tramples on to achieve that goal. Chiron in Pisces is all about the sore spots and old bruises. This week Mars in Leo will be inconjunct Chiron in Pisces late Monday night, not too long before it makes the trine to Uranus in Aries. This is more of a case of super sensitivity running up against fiery exuberance and haste. A very excited fire sign type can be very boisterous and downright loud. The obvious solution is to practice awareness of our behaviors. Are we being overly sensitive or completely insensitive? Being respectful of others usually works out well for all concerned.
On Saturday, the Virgo Sun exactly opposes Chiron in Pisces and is inconjunct Uranus in Aries. I can see an instant replay in great detail of issues raised earlier in the week. The best outcome involves Virgo’s skill as a healer emerging to sooth wounded pride and over-stressed nervous systems.
Midweek Mercury in Libra squares Pluto in Capricorn and if we’re not careful the verbal knives will come out. This situation calls for Libra tact and diplomacy . . . lots of it. Both Libra and Capricorn generally respect the rules, so this might be a good time to implement the “agree to disagree” one. Be scrupulously honest and fair because Pluto in Capricorn is an incredible lie detector. I also recommend doing one’s best to set aside expectations of a certain outcome too.
Over the weekend is the first of two eclipses, a New Moon Solar Eclipse in Virgo. It looks to be an uncomfortable lunation highlighting vulnerabilities we would prefer not to acknowledge. Chiron in Pisces opposes the luminaries and Uranus in Aries is inconjunct them . . . like I said, neither comfortable nor easy. Be kind, respectful and toughen your skin because someone is probably going to say something hurtful.
Moving on to the Moon’s journey this week where she starts off in her home sign of Cancer. Monday finds the Cancer Moon feeling crabby because she has spats with Mercury in Libra and Pluto in Capricorn in the morning plus some with Uranus in Aries during the night. Tuesday she will greatly benefit from a trine to stable Saturn in Scorpio late in the day.
Wednesday brings more drama from a Leo Moon under pressure from Neptune in Pisces and Pluto in Capricorn. Since this is the day Mercury squares Pluto, I’d suggest rescheduling meeting with confrontational types. Thursday is much more favorable and upbeat thanks to the Leo Moon hanging out with Venus, Uranus and Mars.
Friday the Moon is in Virgo and we enter the Balsamic Phase leading up to the New Moon Saturday night/Sunday morning. It’s the best day this week to handle routine matters and anything business related.
The New Moon Solar Eclipse in Virgo completely dominates the weekend. Give serious thought to taking time alone. Go on retreat or spend time soaking up the beauties of the natural world. Simple, basic activities are favored over grand social occasions at this time.
Much of this week’s angst may not have an obvious source with the exception of Wednesday’s Mercury-Pluto square. Inconjuncts can run along smoothly before hitting a rough patch. If you have personal planets from 18° to 20° your chances of being affected increase. Issues you thought were long settled could crop up and demand attention, so remember to breathe and practice patience every day.
