Pretty darn quiet week and that pleases me very, very much!! We’ve had enough turbulence over the past month to last us for awhile. Most of the action occurs on Tuesday surrounding the Full Moon in Taurus and that’s a low key lunation. The Taurus Full Moon is calm and sensible, just the way fixed signs Taurus and Scorpio like it.
Taurus’s ruler, Venus, takes a couple of minor hits Tuesday due to an opposition to Chiron in Pisces and inconjunct to Uranus in Aries. Venus in Virgo is fond of her solitude and prefers an orderly, clean environment. Uranus in Aries is about as disruptive an influence there is, so the debris it leaves in its wake is hard on this reclusive Venus. Thoughtful gestures and soft, kind words will go a long ways to easing hurt feelings.
A Scorpio Sun-Neptune in Pisces trine on Friday is wonderful for creating a healing atmosphere. Hopefully this influence will soften hearts and allow love to flow once more. Those lucky souls who have personal planets from 6° to 8° Cancer get to experience the bliss of a Grand Trine in water! A wonderful day for sensitive sorts who have been feeling a bit trampled in recent months. Let the healing begin.
After a long, long stay in Libra, Mercury finally moves on to Scorpio late November 1. Mercury has been in Libra since August 27 because it spent part of the time retrograde. It seems Mercury retrograde in the air signs is not a fun experience and leaves considerable confusion for us to overcome. Of course, Mercury in extremely focused, intuitive Scorpio will be an experience to remember too! Forget about keeping secrets because there is no one better at ferreting those out than Mercury in Scorpio.
Much of Monday find the Aries Moon void-of-course and the last aspect she makes is an opposition to Mercury in Libra. Information exchanges could get heated at times unless there is an effort made to be diplomatic and tactful. Please do so. Once the Moon enters Taurus late Monday night, things will quiet down.
The wonderful Full Moon in Taurus occurs first thing Tuesday morning and the focus shifts back to basics. Tuesday and Wednesday revolve around harmonious aspects to the Virgo planets and Neptune in Pisces. It is the perfect atmosphere for handling business matters, taking care of children and doing yard work. Take some time to enjoy a good meal or two . . . home cooked if possible. 🙂
Thursday finds the Moon in social Gemini, and she might not be in the best of moods. Right off Thursday morning she is opposed by Saturn in Sagittarius before squaring Neptune in Pisces midday. The fun continues on Friday when she squares all of those Virgo planets with a brief reprieve first thing in the morning via a sextile to Uranus, and another late evening with a trine to Mercury in Libra. Neither day is all that great for meeting and greeting, so reschedule meetings if possible. Getting inundated with extraneous details is one way things could get derailed.
The Moon happily returns home to Cancer on the weekend where she will complete a fleeting Grand Trine in water with the Scorpio Sun and Neptune in Pisces on Saturday. Sunday she makes nice with Venus and Mars in Virgo after fending off those trouble makers, Pluto in Capricorn and Uranus in Aries, during the night.
Overall this weekend is very favorable for family gatherings and doing Halloween activities like trick or treating with a gaggle of children. Visit a haunted house or two while you’re at it! By the end of this week, it should have sunk in we are now in Scorpio Season and emotional intelligence is what counts. The light, bright Libra sky is behind us for another year, and the days are clearly growing shorter in the northern hemisphere. Pay attention to nuance and non-verbal cues because sometimes what people don’t say is far more critical than what they do. As always, practice patience and be kind to all. Peace to all.

I very much enjoy your write-ups. Please forgive for saying this, but don’t forget to make paragraphs! this is hard on the eyes to read.
Hi jim,
Thanks for calling my attention to the lack of paragraphs. Occasionally WP messes those up & I don’t always catch it right away.
