Most of this week will be spent remembering how to breathe again. The exact Sun-Venus conjunction in Gemini on Monday will be very good at coming up with pleasant distractions and should improve relationships in general. It might be a good idea to steer clear of control issues Monday evening when the Sun-Venus conjunction is inconjunct to Pluto in Capricorn. What one person feels is a harmless joke another may cause another to take offense.
Mercury is on the way out of Taurus this week. It moves into its home sign of Gemini on Sunday, kicking our minds into overdrive. Before it gets there though Mercury will make two aspect; a sextile to Chiron in Pisces on Wednesday which is always good for coming up with the right words to heal and improve the mood of others. A more contentious aspect is the Mercury-Mars opposition on Thursday. Taurus and Scorpio are both fixed signs and unless we make a concerted effort to see positive possibilities in our differences, we could end up in a stalemate.
After several weekends in a row where hiding out sounded better than spending time with friends and family, this weekend looks far more promising for enjoying social activities of all kinds. Sunday Venus in Gemini will be sextile Uranus in Aries, prompting spontaneous get-togethers and coming up with unusual ways to enjoy life. Do something simply for fun this weekend.
Monday’s Cancer Moon gently glides along towards a late afternoon trine to compassionate Neptune in Pisces, followed by thoughtful sextile to Jupiter in Virgo. Tuning into our intuitive side and treating others kindly get the lunar week off to a good start. We probably won’t notice the Cancer Moon’s touchy aspects to Pluto in Capricorn and Uranus in Aries all that much. They occur far enough apart now they don’t reverberate through the atmosphere like they used to.
The afternoon Tuesday is quite favorable to interacting with others, especially family, because the Cancer Moon is sextile Mercury in Taurus and goes void-of-course trine Mars in Scorpio in the early evening. Use the morning to work alone if you can because waxing Moon-Uranus square, exact midday, could create tension.
The Moon enters exuberant Leo Tuesday night and has about twenty-four uninterrupted hours to spread Leo warmth and light. Leo at its best inspires creative enthusiasm and takes a childlike joy in life, something we can always use more of. Wednesday and Thursday both are good days to plan activities with friends or help set a more pleasant tone to business meetings. During the day Thursday, the Leo Moon makes harmonious aspects with the Sun-Venus in Gemini and Uranus in Aries. However it is also the day Mercury opposes Mars, making it a good time to draw on the humor and light touch the beneficial lunar aspects provide to defuse what could be a tense atmosphere.
Thursday night the Leo Moon may get herself into a fix when she creates a T-Square with the Mercury-Mars opposition. Those of you who work the night shift may run into more moodiness and angst. Be careful out there.
By Friday morning, the Moon will shift into earthy Virgo, just in time to finish up the work week effectively. Here again we have a full twenty-four hours or so before with a unaspected Virgo Moon. It will be Saturday morning early before she opposes Neptune in Pisces which means we may want to sleep in . . . but we won’t be able to because an opposition to Saturn in Sagittarius will remind us we can’t avoid our responsibilities. Later in day the Moon will conjoin Jupiter in Virgo and be trine Pluto in Capricorn. These aren’t exactly party hearty aspects but if we plan a get-together to help out those in need, it should go quite well.
The Moon goes void-of-course early Sunday morning following a sextile to Mars in Scorpio. It will be late afternoon/early evening before she enters fair-minded Libra and immediately makes a trine to Mercury in Gemini. Sunday evening is a great time to plan a convivial evening with like-minded people. Witty, light hearted conversations with an occasional flirtatious remark thrown in add to the fun.
I almost hate to bring it up but for the next couple of weeks the square between Saturn in Sagittarius and Neptune in Pisces will make its presence felt. Both planets will be at 12° and the square will be partile on June 17. Those who have personal planets or Angles from 11° to 13° in the mutable signs are already aware of this one and the conflicts it can create within and without. One way to alleviate the pressure is to find ways to put one’s spiritual beliefs (Neptune) into daily practice (Saturn).
Do make good use of the less congested atmosphere this week to help clear up some of the confusion left over from last week’s aspects and the Gemini New Moon. We have some time before Mercury in Gemini catches up to Neptune do get to work on issues that require clear, precise thinking.
