Full Moon in Capricorn anchors the day 7-19-2016

Full Moon in Scorpio

Lunations have a way of completely taking over the day they occur and today’s Full Moon in Capricorn is no exception. The Moon-Uranus square mid-morning (part of a T-Square with the luminaries) harks back to Saturday when the Cancer Sun squared Uranus in Aries. It may bring a sudden insight into an old issue, hopefully allowing us to put it to rest. The sextile from Mars in Scorpio to the Moon (he was trine the Sun on Saturday) is exact shortly before the Full Moon. Pragmatic Scorpio works well with the Cancer-Capricorn axis and we may intuitively know the right course of action we need to take to resolve issues that have been plaguing us since Mars re-entered Scorpio at the end of May. Even as we go about our daily routines, much of our attention could be focused internally.

After the Moon enters Aquarius this evening and adds air, our ability to find some perspective will improve. We’ll certainly have plenty to process following the Full Moon. Another fading but still vital influence is the Grand Trine in water (Mars in Scorpio trine Chiron in Pisces and the Cancer Sun) which continues to add quiet healing energy to the atmosphere. 🌠☾♑🌠 ➱ 🌠☾♒🌠

A less helpful aspect today is the inconjunct between Mercury in Leo and Neptune in Pisces. This one looks a whole lot like “stinking thinking”, where we allow ourselves to be diverted by our fears from taking the high road. Exaggerations and outright lies are possible too. If important decisions need to be made, I suggest postponing those until the fog lifts later this week.

Note: Timing is averaged for EDT to PDT.
