We finally catch a breather this week with few major aspects to disturb the atmosphere until the weekend. However, if you are undergoing an important transit from Saturn at 9° Sagittarius, when it stations direct on Saturday it will probably demand your attention. The overall pace this week should be less frantic due to Saturn at a standstill, giving us time to take stock and evaluate the past few weeks.
If you are feeling as behind as I am, then grab opportunities wherever you can to catch up. Do plan on working at a slow, steady pace and make sure you set clear priorities before starting. When Saturn is at a standstill, progress can still be made but only if we are willing to be diligent and patient.
On the plus side is a helpful trine on Wednesday between Mercury in Virgo and Pluto in Capricorn. If anything can help clear up any misunderstandings and misinformation generated by Mercury getting hit last weekend by the Saturn-Neptune square, it is these two working together to get to the truth. This is a very good time to review documents for accuracy before signing too.
This weekend it is Venus in Virgo who is up against the Saturn-Neptune square and if we’re not careful, our one-on-one relationships may suffer. The greatest challenge, in my opinion, is determining value because Saturn can cause us to undervalue and Neptune overvalue the same thing. Love can be confused with duty if you listen to Saturn but Neptune can convince us we’ve met our soul mate . . . at least until we take a second look in dawn’s cold light. In other words, don’t commit either way until Venus has pulled far away from these two trouble makers to allow for some sanity.
A very tricky aspect is the exact inconjunct between meticulous Jupiter in Virgo and stubbornly independent Uranus in Aries on Saturday. Unless we have personal planets or Ascendant at 24° in either the mutable signs or cardinal signs, we’ll probably see this one played out in the news. Jupiter in Virgo insists the small differences matter and Uranus in Aries is completely indifferent to them. People who have a “good enough” attitude are going to drive those who prefer precision nutty.
For the most part, the Moon is having a good week traveling from Libra to Capricorn. Once the Libra Moon gets past her regular opposition to Uranus in Aries midday Monday, she goes void-of-course. We should all benefit from this quiet, peaceful energy as we go about our business Monday afternoon and evening.
Tuesday morning we wake up to the Moon in Scorpio sextile Venus in Virgo which sets a pleasant tone for the day. The only other aspect the Scorpio Moon makes is a soothing trine to Neptune in Pisces that evening. Both Monday and Tuesday look quite favorable because neither the Moon nor the other planets are disturbing the force. Enjoy the calm sky.
Wednesday is the 1st Quarter Moon (when the Scorpio Moon squares the Leo Sun, and when the Scorpio Moon happily teams up with the planets in earth signs. The day starts with a sextile Pluto in Capricorn and ends with a sextile to Jupiter in Virgo. It is also the day when Mercury is trine Pluto making it the best day this week to deal with practical business matters. It is also a good day for working in the green house or the garden nurturing new growth and doing some weeding.
After the Scorpio Moon is sextile Jupiter, she goes void-of-course until midday Thursday. The Sagittarius Moon will conjoin Mars Thursday evening for an energetic end to the day. We’ll still be in a good place on Thursday to accomplish what we need to before the end of the week . . . and it would be a good idea to do exactly that.
Friday the Sagittarius Moon is hugely distracted when she runs into the Saturn-Neptune square and squares both Venus and Mercury in Virgo. Take the day off if you can or work on simple tasks that require little concentration. It’s one of those days when the devil is in the details and we may not be able to figure out which ones are incorrect.
Chalk up Saturday as another day where plans could go astray. The Sagittarius Moon does try to keep our spirits up via a trine to Uranus in Aries mid-morning, followed shortly by a square to Jupiter in Virgo after which she goes void-of-course until late Saturday night. Saturn in Sagittarius stations direct on Saturday and I doubt if that will have a favorable effect on travel plans. Use the “Keep It Simple Stupid” method to keep your life on track.
Sunday looks to be the better day this weekend with the Capricorn Moon walking sturdily alone most of the day. During the late afternoon and evening she will harmoniously aspect Neptune in Pisces and then Venus in Virgo. Spending a quiet evening at home may be just what we need to recover from the rest of the weekend.
It’s quite clear what we need to do this week is take care of important matters before Friday when carefully crafted plans may go sideways in a hurry. The best thing I can say about the weekend with Venus in Virgo creating a mutable T-Square with Saturn and Neptune is it could provide valuable insight into what we truly value about ourselves and our loved ones. As always practice patience and kindness!
