Taurus Moon brings us back to earth today 12-10-2016

Taurus by Susan Seddons Boulet

After the electric rush of the Aries Moon, when the Moon ambles into Taurus before dawn she will slow the pace considerably. Those of us who have felt stretched thin recently by attempting to meet too many demands will probably feel a sense of relief. All you adrenaline junkies out there are just going to have to lump it! A midday square between the Taurus Moon and her ruler, Venus (now in Aquarius), is going to make those Christmas treats look very, very yummy. Christmas cookies and hot chocolate, anyone? The quiet deepens towards evening when the Moon is sextile Neptune in Pisces and we may find ourselves wanting to stay home in order to relax with family. Slow down today and take in the simple pleasures for a change. 🌠☽♉🌠

Today marks the Sagittarius Sun’s meeting with Saturn and with it the wake up call for those who wandered too far off course following Neptune’s siren call. Saturn rewards diligence and responsible behavior, that’s what he’s noted for. Sooner or later, he will remind us why he does and now is one of those times. Like old St. Nick, he knows who’s been naughty or nice. Just saying . . .

A calming influence is Mercury in Capricorn sextile Neptune in Pisces today that is wonderful for creative thinking and articulating our emotions. Most of us need help with sharing our feelings with clarity. Neptune’s innate compassion and Capricorn’s matter of fact approach are a good combination for the delicate task of opening up our hearts.
