This is one of those days when it depends on where you live how much the Virgo Moon’s more challenging aspects affect you. For those of us in the USA, her square to Saturn in Sagittarius takes place during the night as well as an annoying inconjunct to Uranus in Aries. Unless you work the night shift, you will probably sleep right through those. After a predawn opposition to Chiron in Pisces the Virgo Moon goes about business as usual until she squares the Sun at 29° Sagittarius late in the afternoon. Shortly thereafter, the Moon glides into peace loving Libra for the evening. We should be able to focus on the details today and follow our normal daily routine despite the clamor of the holiday season. 🌠☾♍🌠➱🌠☾♎🌠
Whenever the Sun is at the anaretic degree (29°) we can be more aware of needing to mark the ending of some aspect in our lives. Those of us who have personal planets or an Ascendant at 29° get a double dose of this effect. In general we are more attuned to the need for clean endings in order to prepare for something new to come into our lives. It is all part of the natural cycles of Nature and Life. Jessica, MoonKissed Astrology, has a great post on this related to the current Mercury Retrograde in Capricorn. Check out her post, End of the Year Clearing.
