Today we find out what a difference having the Moon in sensible Capricorn makes instead of free wheeling Sagittarius. She bustles along making no aspects until she squares Venus in Aries this evening. It’s time to start getting our heads back in work mode for the coming week. Some may choose to go into the office and others may get serious about doing chores around home. A quiet evening at home will probably have more appeal than going out. 🌠☾♑🌠
It’s Mother’s Day here in the USA! Since Capricorn is feminine earth, it is surprisingly appropriate for recognizing how much our mothers do for us and our families. Often our relationship with our mothers is reflected by our natal Moons. Learning about the sign of our Moon and how it is aspected can help us come to a better understanding of this very important relationship. My own mother was a Libra Sun and her Sun widely conjoined my Libra Moon. We took turns supporting each other and I always knew she loved me. However my Moon is sextile Pluto, and I keep running up against my mother’s expectations for me. From my observations, there is no such thing as an easy natal Moon-Pluto aspect, just varying degrees of painful. 🙂
