This is not a great day for the Cancer Moon . . . she has to put up with Jupiter in Libra squaring her and Pluto in Cappy opposing her at dawn. After that she will slide into the background for the rest of the day with her final midnight aspect before going void-of-course after a square to Uranus in Aries. As much as she would like to see more work done around the home today, she’ll have an uphill battle thanks to the Sun leaving Cancer for lordly Leo this morning. 🌠☾♋🌠
The Sun is always overjoyed to return to fiery Leo each year. Playful, passionate Leo is the Sun’s home sign and where it is most comfortable. Whenever the Sun makes the transition from water to fire, there is a noticeable uptick in energy and enthusiasm.
On a personal note: Tomorrow is the New Moon in Leo and the beginning of a new cycle for me too. I’m in need of a change to recharge my tired brain and will be posting less frequently. Since I started blogging on astrology in 2006, I’ve written almost every day. There are other creative avenues I wish to explore again too, including projects that have been languishing in the corners for 10 years! Time for this astrologer to get off the treadmill and play more. 🙂
