Full Moon in Pisces, August 26, 2018

After all the eclipse excitement over the last month or so, this nice, normal Full Moon at 03° 12′ Pisces on 26 August 2018 04:56 AM PDT will be quite welcome. It features an amazing Grand Kite in earth and water, perfect for calming the over-heated atmosphere left over from this year’s Leo Season. To be sure, there enough tense aspects to keep things percolating but nothing we can’t live with.

This Grand Kite in earth and water is a true blessing. It is composed of a Grand Trine in earth between the Virgo Sun, Saturn in Capricorn and Uranus in Taurus with the Pisces Moon turning it into a Kite pattern. The blend of meticulous Virgo attention to detail, Capricorn’s sturdy pragmatism and solid work ethic with Uranus in Taurus’s ability to find unique solutions to existing problems gives us a fine base for future actions. However, it is adding in the Pisces Moon’s intuition and deep well of compassion that takes the effects of this Grand Kite to a whole new level. Synergy is happening . . . and here’s to seeing the benefits spread far and wide.

Where we can run into difficulties is with the rulers of the luminaries, Mercury in Leo and Neptune in Pisces. Neptune is the apex of a Yod with Mercury in Leo sextile Venus in Libra as the base. The Mercury-Venus sextile is ever so charming and very good at sweet talking people. The catch is most of what is said will probably be a lot of hooey with only a tiny bit of truth mixed in. Check and double check to make sure you are dealing with good information. Please don’t rush to judgment now and end up even deeper in the mire.

Both Mercury and Venus are burdened with squares to other planets. Mercury is square Jupiter in Scorpio, and Venus squares Pluto in Capricorn. Mercury-Jupiter squares are noted for blowing everything wildly out of proportion, while Venus-Pluto squares can bring out nasty obsessions where love and money are concerned.

Mars in Capricorn will be stationing direct about twenty four hours after the Full Moon. He squares Uranus in Taurus by the numbers but the effect is lessened because Taurus and Capricorn are both earth signs. Consistent effort is still the key to success though important breakthroughs are very possible if we’re willing to look at unconventional options.

The key to enjoying successful outcomes on this Pisces Full Moon is to go with simple, easily understood solutions involving plenty of hard work. If someone promises instant results using questionable shortcuts, just say ‘no’ because they are more than likely running some type of scam. We’d be further ahead to take some quiet time to become reacquainted with ourselves. Pisces Full Moons are wonderful for exploring our inner landscapes as long as we remember to be kind, gentle and forgiving of any personal shortcomings . . . we all have them, you know. Choose to spread peace and goodwill at every opportunity.
