We have an opportunity to learn more about Uranus in Taurus and how fixed signs in general operate on the Full Moon at 01° 13′ Taurus, 24 October 2018 09:46 AM PDT. That’s because the Moon is conjoining Uranus in Taurus while opposing a Scorpio Sun-Venus conjunction with seven planets in fixed signs dominating the lunation chart.
The Moon conjunct Uranus in fixed Taurus is poised to manifest change in some area of our lives. Fixed signs have their own unique way of undergoing change. For them change is more of a shift in realities where they move from one set of circumstances to another. Not to worry, Saturn in Capricorn is on hand to keep these changes reasonable rather than whacky. For instance, those choosing to relocate will go the practical, no frills option over something showy and extravagant.
Taurus’s ruler, Venus, conjoins the Scorpio Sun and is exactly sextile Saturn in Capricorn, ensuring relationship and financial issues will be dealt with in a pragmatic manner. A steady, hard-working partner will be more appealing now as will be lower risk investment options. Those who choose to marry under this influence may do so on the spur of the moment but the chances are good these marriages will prove lasting.
Scorpio’s rulers, Mars and Pluto, are in an uneasy relationship with Mars in Aquarius semi-sextile Pluto in Capricorn. Aquarius’s drive to be on the cutting edge is in sharp contrast to Capricorn’s love of the conventional. Attempts to press forward could be bumpy at this time, in part because we may be tempted to drive right over various obstacles . . . something that can come back to haunt us at a later date. Win-win scenarios are the best in the long run.
Uncovering deep, dark secrets is possible now with Mercury widely conjunct Jupiter in Scorpio and sextile Pluto in Capricorn. What we choose to do with this sensitive information needs to be carefully considered. Acting with kindness, integrity and compassion is far and away for the best for all concerned.
Neptune in Pisces sails along on its own this time, forming no close aspects to the other planets. Less fog to navigate through is a very good thing.
This is the last lunation this year featuring Uranus in Taurus because by the Scorpio New Moon on November 7, Uranus will have returned to Aries where it will remain until March 6, 2019. The energy now will be relatively low key with little in the way of drama which is all the better for being able to focus on our personal priorities.
Keep in mind on this Full Moon in Taurus that change doesn’t have to be tumultuous. Take it one step at a time. Step, turn, pause, breathe . . . and feel the energy of the new position surge up through your body. Taurus celebrates being embodied and enjoying all the pleasures that come with it. Peace and love to all.
