A cockeyed optimism infuses the atmosphere on the Full Moon at 0° 52′ Gemini on 22 November 2018, 09:39 PM PST, in part due to the Sagittarius Sun conjoining Jupiter. Plus the luminaries and Jupiter create a mutable T-Square with Mars in Pisces which can produce plenty of rather directionless activity as in running around in circles going nowhere.
One of the reasons we may have no idea what’s really going on is retrograde Mercury (Gemini’s ruler) is in Sagittarius and still squaring foggy Neptune in Pisces. There will be an abundance of hot air and a lack of clear objectives. People will have plenty of ideas to throw out there but it will take some serious sorting later on to figure what’s workable and what’s not. It’s best not to take ourselves and others too seriously now.
If anything can keep us semi-grounded, it is Saturn in pragmatic, earthy Capricorn sextile Mars in Pisces. Saturn works hard to establish boundaries and guidelines for Mars to work within, which is something Mars in Pisces can use in order to avoid wasting energy running about aimlessly. This is great for working on creative projects in general as well as simply handling our business affairs.
The waxing opposition between conventional Venus in Libra and outrageous Uranus in Aries may create some interesting relationship dynamics. It is a good idea to build plenty of autonomy into our relationships in order to keep all parties from feeling caged in. Given half a chance, tactful Venus in Libra will put maximum effort into smoothing over rough patches in order to reduce volatility. One thing about Venus-Uranus aspects is they often increase the likelihood of falling in love at first sight. Be aware these relationships can end just as quickly.
Pluto in Capricorn makes no close aspects on this lunation which reduces the amount of obsessiveness floating around the atmosphere. Nice change.
Mutable energy clearly dominates this Gemini Full Moon along with an abundance of fire and air signs. This is a very heady, creative mix and wonderful for enjoying fascinating conversations. The lighter, brighter tone is great for those celebrating Thanksgiving with family and friends. However this is not an ideal time for making long range plans that require solid, reality based planning. If possible, hold off on making final decisions until we reach Capricorn Season on December 21. We have the final Mercury retrograde of the year to get through which means we’re likely to be making revisions anyway. Please do something fun and relaxing to celebrate the Full Moon in Gemini. Set aside more serious concerns for another day and live in the moment. Enjoy!
