Reality takes a big hit on this Full Moon at 21° 05′ Pisces on 13 September 2019, 09:33 PM PDT. Neptune in Pisces plays a major role on this lunation, since it conjoins the Moon and is part of a mutable T-Square. Naturally the seven planets in earth (Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars in Virgo plus Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn and Uranus in Taurus) are going to act as ballast to keep us grounded but Neptune’s siren song can still insinuate its self into our brains, short-circuiting our common sense.
Coming up with a clear direction to make our next move is going to be extremely challenging now. The action planet, Mars, is in Virgo and part of a mutable T-Square. He is opposing Neptune in Pisces with both planets square Jupiter in Sagittarius. Jupiter amplifies Neptunian confusion, leaving poor Mars wondering what way is up. Mars in Virgo loves to have all the details in place before doing anything, and Neptune makes checking those for accuracy almost impossible. One guideline that may help is focusing on being of service to others. No one is more sincere when asking how they may help than Virgo and Pisces folk. Choose to listen rather than preach, be kind rather than nice and be prepared to practice endless patience! Remember this mutable truth . . . ‘change is the only constant’.
We can’t overlook the fact the Sun and Moon are part of the Mutable T-Square either. The Moon conjoins Neptune in Pisces and Mars conjoins the Virgo Sun. Thanks to Neptune, our emotions can overwhelm us, making us lose sight of knowing where our best interests lie. Mars-Sun aspects are noted for winding us up, and without a clear sense of where to direct those energies we may end up burning ourselves out. Unless we already have a good plan in place, it makes better sense to take a ‘time out’ until the worst of the fog lifts.
On the plus side, Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn are both trine the Sun-Mars conjunction in Virgo (Pluto is closely trine the Sun and Saturn widely trine Mars), and both are sextile the Moon-Neptune conjunction in Pisces. These aspects act as a calming influence, working hard to keep us grounded and rooted in reality. However, given how noisy the Mutable T-Square energy is, the smart move is to make a conscious effort to tune into our sensible side.
An interesting aspect is Mercury conjoining Venus at 29° Virgo. This pair will move into Libra shortly after the Full Moon, a huge blessing! We will FINALLY have a strong air presence again. Venus is coming home to Libra and Mercury always enjoys being in a mental air sign. Nonetheless these two are still in earthy Virgo on the Full Moon, assisting our decision making process by clarifying the practical details with more tact than the often acerbic Mercury in Virgo usually has. Once both planets are in Libra, we can draw on cardinal air energy to review the information from a more detached perspective before setting our plans into motion.
Another small blessing is Uranus in Taurus is sitting this lunation out. So unless you have personal planets and/or Ascendant from 5° to 7° in the fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius), Uranus should have minimal impact.
Because this is a Full Moon in Pisces, we can always benefit from going with the flow and allowing ourselves time to relax for a moment or two. The Jupiter-Neptune square won’t be exact until September 21 and will be dumping irrational exuberance into the atmosphere for awhile yet. Not only that but Saturn in Capricorn is stationing direct on September 18, something that tends to act as a drag on forward momentum. Do something simple and fun for a change. Have a nice massage, go for a leisurely stroll and enjoy watching the sunset or chat quietly with a special friend. Peace and love to all.
