Full Moon in Taurus, November 12, 2019

No question we will fare better on this Full Moon at 19° 52′ Taurus on 12 November 2019, 05:35 AM PST if we place an emphasis on being empathetic and sensible. This matters because earth and water dominate this chart with only a minor showing from air and fire.

A Cradle Pattern ties together the Scorpio Sun-Mercury, Taurus Moon, Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn plus Neptune in Pisces, creating a harmonious flow between those bodies. We are in an excellent position to review both short term and long term goals to see if those are still aligned with our spiritual beliefs whilst remaining firmly grounded in the real world. Retrograde Mercury in Scorpio is in the perfect place to help us because it goes unflinching right to the heart of the matter. It does help to have the Full Moon shining light even in the darkest corners. If we have strayed from our best path, a good use of these energies is to ruthlessly cut out those elements leading us astray . . . Scorpio and Pluto can be helpful like that.

The aspect most likely to create havoc in our lives is the waxing square between Venus in Sagittarius and Neptune in Pisces. The mix of idealism and denial is inherently unhealthy, and can lead us to have faith in people and situations that will ultimately betray us. The best way to stay out of trouble is to lean on Saturn in Capricorn (still trine Neptune and semi-sextile Venus) and cultivate a very pragmatic attitude . . . go with factual, tangible information only. Needless to say, this is NOT a good time for making important decisions where love and/or money are involved.

Over in left field, Mars in Libra is exactly sextile Jupiter in Sagittarius, generating positive energy if a bit over the top. This is the last aspect Mars will make before charging into Scorpio on November 18. Fire and air folk will enjoy this burst of vibrant energy, giving them a much needed lift in spirits.

While Uranus in Taurus was highlighted on the Scorpio New Moon, it sits on the sidelines for the Full Moon. That doesn’t mean it won’t continue to prod those people who have personal planets and/or Ascendant from 3° to 5° in the fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius), it will. Change is seldom comfortable for fixed signs which is why they often get it over with as quickly as possible.

One of the best ways to celebrate this Full Moon in earthy Taurus is to enjoy simple, homey pleasures with loved ones. Laugh at old, familiar jokes, eat plenty of good food and enjoy hanging out with those who know us best. Scorpio season is winding to a close and Mercury is still retrograde until November 20, so we may as well take this opportunity to kick back and relax for awhile. Cheers!
