We finally have a decent balance in both mode and elements on this Full Moon at 08° 18′ Libra on 28 March 2021, 11:48 AM PDT, something Libra loves. The Aries Sun conjoins Venus, Libra’s ruler, and this pair is part of a Kite Pattern which includes a Grand Trine in air (Libra Moon, Mars in Gemini and Saturn in Aquarius). What a rush!
The best thing about a Kite Pattern is it has more dynamic energy than a Grand Trine. The two sextiles and one opposition boost the energy and give it a focused outlet. Grand Trines are lazy, gently spinning around going nowhere. The sextiles in this case are to the Aries Sun-Venus conjunction from Mars in Gemini and Saturn in Aquarius. And the Full Moon in Libra is the “arrow” being launched outwards. Air and fire feed each other, generating inspiration and powerful ideas. In this instance, it is the Libra ideals of justice, fairness, compromise and equity we need to apply in our every day lives. Satisfactory resolutions for all parties can only be achieved through compromise leading to equitable solutions for everyone. We need to practice active listening instead of waiting impatiently for the other party to finish speaking before demanding things be done our way.
What we may have the most trouble with is Mercury. Mercury conjoins Neptune in Pisces and both are semi-sextile Jupiter in Aquarius. Honest feedback is going to be hard to come by. Creative embellishment of the facts is the most likely outcome, and while this is great for professional story tellers and entertainers, it can cause all sorts of problems for those who prefer to deal with accurate data. By the first of April, Mercury in Pisces will have pulled far enough away from Neptune and Jupiter for the truth to reemerge. If we can’t wait it out, please double and triple check information before acting on it. In fact, treat the whole thing like brief Mercury retrograde on steroids.
The square between Uranus in Taurus and Saturn in Aquarius is gradually waning but still in effect on this lunation. Since Saturn is part of the Kite Pattern, we’ll also be feeling some impact from Uranus in Taurus. Uranus is semi-sextile the Aries Sun-Venus conjunction and inconjunct the Libra Moon. What we value is undergoing deep changes now and because Uranus is in well grounded Taurus, these changes will likely be quite tangible. We may find ourselves selling off assets we no longer need, up to and including our homes. Now is an excellent time to re-evaluate what is most important to us. Remember the Saturn-Uranus square will be working in the background most of this year, tearing down old structures to make way for new ones.
One small thing to be thankful for is Pluto in Capricorn is sitting this lunation out. 🙂
On the whole, this Full Moon in Libra will give us much to celebrate. Fire and air are happily feeding each other, inspiring us to think good thoughts and contemplate our futures in a positive light. Having the rulers of Aries and Libra (Mars and Venus) dancing in harmony infuses the atmosphere with joy. Relationships will benefit from this easy, lighthearted flow, making this a great time to renew vows of love and friendship. Please be kind and practice patience!
