The emotional tides may be running high on the New Moon at 12° 07’ Pisces on 2 March 2022, 09:36 AM PST. Jupiter conjoins the Sun and Moon in Pisces with all three sextile Uranus in Taurus. Our expectations are probably going to be high yet we can still be blindsided by changes Uranus ushers in. As hard as it is to dampen expectations of a specific outcome, we might wish to work hard on doing so. Otherwise we may court disappointment in the short term because the best outcomes are more likely to show up in the long run. The duality of Pisces will be very apparent with the potential for so many different options we might be overwhelmed. Uranus ensures the possibility everything can change in an instant.
The one stable factor in this New Moon chart is Mercury conjoining Saturn in fixed Aquarius. We need the clear, rational energy of Aquarius to offset the ambiguity of mutable Pisces. The combination of Pisces compassion and Aquarius humanitarianism can have a positive impact on us personally as well as on society as a whole. Those who are willing to take a firm stance on behalf of greater good will be reflecting this Mercury-Saturn conjunction.
The other extremely interesting aspect is Venus, Mars and Pluto conjoined in Capricorn sextile Neptune in Pisces. One way to look at this intense aspect is we are undergoing the process of clarifying and redefining our value system and what actions we wish to take as a result. The presence of Pluto practically ensures that in the process we will end up discarding much of what we had previously thought we desperately needed. A word of warning regarding Pluto inspired changes . . . there will be no going back because Pluto has a way of leaving barren ground in its wake. Neptune in Pisces does suggest unconditional love is a necessary component for working in a sane, healthy way through issues raised during this time.
With the exception of the Mercury-Saturn conjunction in Aquarius, all the rest of the planets on this New Moon in Pisces are in earth and water. Intuition and emotional intelligence are key to forging ahead successfully following this lunation. We’ll need to allow ourselves plenty of time to work through all the layers of information that will be thrown at us. Having Jupiter in Pisces conjoining the luminaries is both a blessing and a curse because Jupiter always magnifies whatever it touches. We could see major gains in some cases as well as big losses in others. All the more reason to practice kindness, patience and tolerance over the coming days. Let peace and love illuminate this memorable New Moon in Pisces.
