There is a comfortable vibe on this earthy Full Moon at 27° 40’ Virgo on 18 March 2022, 12:18 AM PDT but it won’t be without a few surprises just to keep things interesting. There is a very good chance some of us may get a progress report on what was set in motion on the New Moon in Pisces, thanks to Pluto in Capricorn harmoniously aspecting both the Virgo Moon and the Pisces Sun.
One of the best things about Virgo is its ability to make order out of chaos in a quiet, efficient manner, and there has been plenty of chaos swirling around for awhile. On the New Moon in Pisces, Pluto in Capricorn conjoined Venus and Mars which was intense to say the least! Now the Virgo Moon is trine Pluto and we can finally begin to sort through the debris and attempt to make sense of what happened. The Pisces Sun conjunct Neptune brings empathy and healing vibes to ease us through the process of moving on. Since we seldom get quick fixes in this life, we may as well acknowledge the fact it is going to take time for things to improve.
Nothing like having a waxing conjunction between Mercury and Jupiter in Pisces for promoting a positive attitude. Mercury in Pisces is also sextile Uranus in Taurus which is wonderful for creative thinking as well as being able to make incredible intuitive leaps when we process information. We may finally be able to come up with answers for troubling questions that have been plaguing us for quite some time.
The most challenging aspect in this Full Moon chart is Venus conjunct Mars in Aquarius square Uranus in Taurus. People may need to accept the need for more autonomy in relationships because if someone feels smothered and controlled by their partner they are likely to walk away . . . and probably won’t be back. When fixed signs are done, they are truly and completely done. While some may enjoy experimenting with different ways of loving, others may find it very uncomfortable. It’s good time to practice being tolerant and non-judgmental.
Saturn in Aquarius only has a minor role on this lunation. It is semi-sextile both Jupiter and Neptune in Pisces. While Saturn’s influence may not be as strong as usual, it will help keep us a touch more grounded in the real world as well as remind us to take a more rational approach to problem solving.
There is a great deal to love about this Full Moon in Virgo. If we’re willing to focus our attention on taking care of ourselves and those we care about, we have an opportunity for in-depth healing. The only discordant note revolves around the need to demand our “freedom”, and this will most likely manifest in our personal relationships. We also need to keep in mind Pluto’s idea of healing is more on the order of wound debridement, extreme pain followed by gradual improvement. All the more reason to practice being kind, gentle and loving in all our interactions with others. Peace and love to all.
