Gemini’s inherent duality is visible on this New Moon at 09° 03’ Gemini on 30 May 2022, 04:30 AM PDT. On one hand we have the Gemini luminaries sextile the volatile Mars-Jupiter conjunction in Aries, and on the other, Mercury, Gemini’s ruler, is in Taurus and is sextile Neptune in Pisces, square Saturn in Aquarius and trine Pluto in Capricorn. What this suggests is we are likely to be bombarded with conflicting messages!
We need to remember there are no “bad” signs, aspects or planets. The Gemini luminaries sextile Mars-Jupiter in Aries is a bold, brash combination designed to get our blood moving and inspire us to take action. What we have occurring on this New Moon is more about timing than anything. Mercury is still retrograde in Taurus and won’t go direct until June 3. We can always ignore this and move forward with our exciting plans and that may work out fine. However there is also a good possibility of running into a brick wall. What we gain by waiting is having a direct Mercury in practical Taurus to help us with pesky details like getting financing in place, making sure various experts are available to give us feedback, all important documents are in order and filed with the proper authorities, etc. By the end of the second week in June, Mercury will have moved out of orb of the square to Saturn in Aquarius and made its third trine to Pluto in Capricorn as well as be back up to speed. Of course, we also lose the gentle wisdom generated by Mercury in Taurus sextile Neptune in Pisces. Win some, lose some.
The lovely Venus in Taurus has little impact at this time. It is semi-sextile Mars and Jupiter in Aries which may provide enough pleasant distractions to take a little of their manic edge off. One would hope anyway.
Best news is Uranus in Taurus sits this lunation out. There is enough turbulence with having erratic Uranus messing with the situation.
We seldom have such a clear example of duality as we do on this New Moon in Gemini. And as long as we strive to see how this can work to enrich our lives and avoid the simplistic trap of calling anything we don’t understand as “bad”, we’ll be OK. It is human nature to choose the familiar over the unknown and want to get our information in small, easily digestible amounts. The fast paced world most of us live in constantly feeds us info-bites and unless we make a concerted effort to dig deeper on our own, we end up settling for a small fragment of the truth. Gemini excels at grabbing exciting bits of information from every available source, that’s its job. But it takes the rest of zodiac to put all these pieces together into a cohesive whole. Each sign is integral and valuable to the process of learning about our place in this amazing world. Use the time between this New Moon in Gemini and the upcoming Full Moon in Sagittarius to slow down and observe what unfolds in our own lives and in the world at large. Always interesting! For now, it might be a good idea to cultivate patience, tolerance while keep our minds and hearts open. Peace and love to all.
Note: Timing is averaged for EDT to PDT.

Expect “Conflicting messages”! This is similar to what I was thinking: mixed messages!
Ha, Ha, Ha! It will be interesting to watch the news cycle. Thanks for reblogging my post! 😀
