Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Libra, March 25, 2024

It doesn’t appear this particular Lunar Eclipse at 05° 07’ Libra on March 25, 2024 12:01 AM PDT is all that scary. Both the Libra Moon and the Aries Sun make flowing aspects to Pluto in Aquarius, and while that suggests deep change may be in the works, those should ultimately benefit everyone. In fact, the chart as a whole is on the low key side.

While it is always a challenge to truly plumb Pluto’s depths, we may have more luck than usual with the Libra Moon-Pluto in Aquarius trine. That’s because the airy Libra Moon can help us articulate what rises to the surface our minds in regards to our feelings. Freedom to be ourselves is one facet of the fiery Aries Sun-Pluto in Aquarius sextile, and there is little doubt that being able to identify what is holding us back is very important to fixing that issue so we can forge ahead. The Libra Moon-Aries Sun-Pluto in Aquarius triangle strongly favors letting go of past entanglements in order to build towards better future goals.

Libra’s ruler, Venus, is currently exalted in Pisces, and now that Venus in Pisces is separating from the conjunction with Saturn in Pisces, the atmosphere is easing up. Venus in Pisces is still closely sextile Jupiter in Taurus (exact on March 24), and that’s a real big warm hug of energy in part because it places Venus and Jupiter in mutual reception. Venus rules Taurus and Jupiter is the traditional ruler of Pisces. Venus in Pisces also makes a waxing sextile to Uranus in Taurus (exact on March 28). Hopefully we have pleasant surprises in store for us on the love and money front.

Venus fares much better than Mars on this lunation. Mars is now in Pisces and is tightly semi-sextile Pluto in Aquarius. This is not the best situation for gaining insights into why we do what we do except through indirect methods and using our intuition. It’s possible some people may think their actions are hidden from view but in fact are being revealed to everyone.

Both Mercury in Aries and Neptune in Pisces are unaspected on this lunation. Mercury is now slowing to station retrograde at 27° 13’ Aries on April 1 and will not station direct until April 25 at 15° 59’ Aries. There will probably be plenty of frustrated, impatient people out there during this Mercury retrograde, so please be patient and allow extra time, especially when traveling. It will be good to get a break from Neptune in Pisces’s brand of confusion that has plagued us during recent lunations.

All in all, this is a mild-mannered Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Libra. All the elements and modes are represented for a change, and that allows for a more balanced point of view which fits nicely with the Libra Moon and a well aspected Venus. Instead of focusing on any upcoming turbulence in the sky, let’s take a moment to stop and breathe. We are allowed to do that once in a while, and it is necessary for our health and well-being. Since Mercury in Aries is not noted for its tact, we may want to remind ourselves to be tactful in our dealings with others. Keep in mind a little tact is useful when seeking important compromises. As always, practice patience, kindness, gratitude and tolerance. Peace and love to all.
